The beds were comfortable and accommodation clean The breakfast was totally carbs and sugar. The coffee was not nice. We did not have breakfast there. It would be nice to have yogurt and some sort of protein.

This motel is in the process of being renovated and updated by new ownership.....it was really rundown and dirty and the new carpet and paint, etc were badly needed. Areas like stairwells which have not yet been renovated are still filthy. Rooms are spartan, but do have a minifridge and microwave and work table. An old style tv does provide good cable and there is free wifi. You can open a window in the room, which is a good thing as there are odours which need airing out. The motel is located right off Highway #401 and there is plenty of free parking, and restaurants and stores within easy walking distance. The complimentary breakfast is poor.....the poorest I have encountered while staying at over 80 hotels in the past 7 months. Unfortunately, this motel will remain "pet-friendly" and cater to smokers (20 of 72 rooms will allow smoking), so it is inevitable that the smells from cigarette smoke and pets will infiltrate the hallways and other rooms. There is no elevator access to the upper floor, so those with physical challenges and lots of luggages should stay on the lower level which is accessible from the ground parking lot (not the lobby level). Rooms are poorly designed with inadequate access to electrical outlets for electronic equipment. This motel offers very basic accommodation, which might appeal to the niche travellers who smoke, travel with pets, or who want basic one-night accommodation.

We asked for a nonsmoking room located on ground level as we have 2 dogs (which this motel does not charge for). Our room was near the exit making it easy for walking our dogs.

Generally it was good. Booking said that my room was to have a refridgerator included. There wasn't. My bed as hard it would have been a little softer.

Was clean like it should be, but I don't like sheets & pillow cases that look like someone has already slept in them. Very friendly staff. Bathroom door needs to be fixed, someone put on what a carpenter calls a skin to cover up something on the door. It needs to be sanded down and finished proper. I got a sliver in my finger and had a hard time getting it out. It also rubs against the toilet.

Convenient location Blanket on bed in room 125 was very old and needs to be replaced. Breakfast was very minimal, not what we expected when it said breakfast included. We had a bagel & coffee.

We were upgraded to a Jacuzi room upon arrival which was very nice. The bed however was very hard and I did not sleep very well and could have used another round in the tub before breakfast. The free continental breakfast was very sparse - there were only 2 choices of bagels left and no fruit (if there ever was any). Choice of regular or decafinated coffee and tea was nice as well as the juice (3 kinds). In all we enjoyed our stay. The bed was very uncomfortable and no elevators - I have a very bad knee, so that would have been helpful.

The room was very clean and although not a 5* hotel it was very clean, comforable and had a great sleep. The staff were extremely polite and very efficient. I would highly recommend the Super8 Woodstock. Thanks!!! Not complaining, but the complimentry breafast was probably less than usual, but for the price, I understand..
