Score from 38 reviews Very good
House keeping was extremely poor / Quality of bed & stinking smell from carpet. It is a old hotel, hence lots of disturbance from the guest passing on the corridor or the guests walking at upper floor above your room. To much noisy.
The walls, bathtub, bathroom door and rug were dirty. The exterior door had a 1/2" cap underneath letting in the cold air so I used the towels to block it. The sound from neighbouring rooms and the exterior walkway could easily be heard inside the room. The staff I talked to said they had new staff and they would do more spot checks.
Great wi-fi and friendly, helpful staff. Good fridge and microwave in room.
No kettle or coffee maker in room.
Staff was friendly, place was clean, good location as far as getting around in unfamiliar city. Ok place to crush for one night, will not recommend a long stay.
Very run down, bathroom window didn't have a lock. Felt little bit unsafe.
The wifi was excellent.
I just explained!!!
Lots of space.
Traffic noise, used ear plugs to sleep.
I liked that they had cream in the office for my coffee. Room was fairly quiet.
The door was ripped off the cabinet in the bathroom. The towel rack was ripped off the wall. The box spring was next to falling apart. No elevator. We wouldn't stay here again.
Spacious room. Convenient location, walking distance to King George Blvd and Central city shopping centre.
Terrible sound proof. I have been living in Room 203, can hear people walking on my roof late night and early morning.
A person called me the day when i was still on the road and i was told i can check in at 2pm. But when i got there after 4, they have to leave us waiting outside for more than 30 minutes and i guess then they forgot us. The staff said they are fully booked so they give us the only room in which the air conditioner is broken, the kitchen water tab is broken. The room looks old and not very clean. The first day the room is not cleaned because my kid put do-not-disturb sign on the door. However the second day the room was not cleaned again when made sure the sign is make-up-room. They even charged service fee per day and required full payment in advance.
Pet hair on bed and pillow sheets
Very noisy place
it was close to shopping and restaurants, very reasonably priced
The clientele and no elevator, had to climb stairs, which was very difficult for me
Very dirty, tv had no remote, no plug for tub. Furniture had people's graffiti names on it ..... Felt bit unsafe cause key not swipe card. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless u expect it to be like a hostel stay .
They don't even change the bed sheets and towels! We ask them to give us some clean towels, and the lady said that's all they have!!!!(Are you serious????) Noisy and dirty. Don't recommend here to anyone.
It's a bed.
The staff is great, the location is awesome and the value is unbeatable.
very basic accommodation and quite a few rough around the edges neighbours.
noisy plus when bars let out...people banging on doors non stop.
I like the price is so reasonable and the staff is so friendly.
Friendly guy at the desk, awesome location right by Surrey Central Station, not a high end establishment but fantastic value
That it wasn't a four star resort with beautiful ladies sashaying across the lobby floor in to the dinning room (of which their was non of course).
Room was too cold. Had an extra blanket and had the thermostat as high as it could go -- still had to use ski hat and down slippers to sleep. I couldn't stay in those conditions. They refused to refund any funds.
