The comfort of the room and cleaniness
The fire alarm kept going on and off in the afternoon,,, was not told it was just being tested,,, I think they should of told us when we checked in...
wi fi is terrible beds uncomfortable
great hospitality from staff, great pool especially the water slide where my kids really enjoyed it, very clean rooms, coffee and tea was available in the rooms as a great welcome. Excellent location.
The pool, water slide, hot tub and sauna
We stayed in a King Suite, the room was dimly lite, 2 of the lights had blown bulbs, no fridge or microwave like we were told we would have! Bed was as hard as a brick, the stuckle on the ceiling above our bed was falling down onto the bed! The sofa bed was ridiculous!!! We checked in 30 min after check ins were allowed and had to wait an additional 30 minutes for our room to be ready! Reserved for 2 adults and 2 children, we were supplied with 2 pillows..... Had to call down for 2 more!
Everything from front desk to our bed.
It was a nice roomy hotel for the family. Close to things we wanted to do.
There were little spiders in our room and when i brought it to the front desks attention, all that was said was thank you for letting us know...
pillow is too soft.
I'd highly recommend this hotel. Excellent in every way. Very positive experience.
the pool was great and hotel located close to alot of amenities
wifi was terrible.
Smell of tobacco and marijuana smoke in the hallway
This is the same as my TripAdvisor review: Our room featured a sitting area off the sleeping area with couch, chair, fridge, microwave and a second TV. It appeared that our bathroom had been remodeled and featured a large walk-in shower with glass panel and no door and oversized rainfall shower head. In other words, a really nice shower. Families with smaller children may want to request a room with a bathtub.
This is the same as my TripAdvisor review: The WiFi was terrible. It dropped out constantly and was pathetically slow when it did work. Note: My sister had a King room and I noticed what appeared to be a internet wall connection. If there was one in our room it was hidden behind furniture. I asked front desk if there was a hardwire connection and he seemed confused. Oh well. The fridge in our room kept things cool at best. Someone had removed the control knob. There were no luggage racks or dressers in our room so we had to place all our clothes on a shelf or side table. My sister's room had both. I should note that our furniture felt dated although as mentioned before, the bathroom felt new. My sister's room had newer furniture but dated bathroom. The beds were too hard for my liking, but did have plenty of pillows. The firmness of the mattress kept me from getting a good night sleep. There was no phonebook or hotel information book. As other's have mentioned the slide is only open Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday. When it was open the "lifeguards" (and I use that term loosely) were more interested in socializing and stepping out for a quick smoke than monitoring the slide. The pool was in desperate need of a cleaning. There was dirt in the corners. Also, most of the lights in the pool area were not working. I don't know if this was a planned thing to save energy or they had burnt out. For families, it is important to know that the door to the pool did not lock so you didn't need to room key to get in. This could be a potential safety issue if small children wandered in unattended. There was construction going on on our floor, as a matter of fact in the room next to ours. This meant we dealt with construction noises, hammering power tools, etc. from early morning until 5:00 or 6:00. All of the hall smoke detectors on our floor had been covered in plastic. A bit disconcerting since there was construction. The staff was so-so.
The hotel was under renovations and we were not made aware of this prior to reserving. At 8am the following morning, the incessant drilling started. We had to change rooms 2 different times while half asleep because the noise travelled all the way from the 16th floor down to the 2nd. It was a terrible experience and all management could do was say "we are sorry for the inconvenience". You should not have guests stay anywhere remotedly close to a construction site and if you must, it is common courtesy to notify the guest especially when their only written request is to have a room away from other guests because they are light sleepers. Needless to say, we did not get much sleep which is the point of getting a hotel room!!
Pillows are terrible
Overall everything, staff were great to get what we needed when needed.
Breakfast not included
Large clean rooms and the staff was friendly. Close to the airport and many places to eat
I would have liked to have seen an uniformed security officer when I was returning late in the evening
The staff were very friendly and accommodating
they didn't have the room we booked available but they did upgrade us to another type
would have been nice if the water slide was open for more hours not jusr 6-10 pm like on a saturday morning with people who have children to be able to use.
We didn't like that the waterslide was not active when we were there
This was my first time with SW, as I've typically stayed at the comparable Holiday Inn a few minutes away. Took a chance on a very reasonably priced suite at SW offered through booking.com and am now a convert. Very, very pleased with the level of comfort and service. Room is well cared for and maintained, quiet and furnishings are modern.
Only one Customer Service Representative was a bit "stiff" upon check-in, but I'm willing to chalk that up to maybe somebody just having a hard day. :)
There were no issues throughout my stay and the room was big. clean and comfortable.
Really good fro the rate that we paid
the restaurant was closed
Beds were very comfy, the pool looked amazing but unfortunately didn't get to use it. Very spacious and beautiful hotel overall. My friend used the gym and liked it.
Took way too long to check in. There was only one lady there to with a line up of people to check in. I think all staff should be trained to check in people incase of a situation like that and the front desk needs help. Had to wait almost an hr-___- other than that everything was great:)
The location was central. The rooms are spacious and contain all that you need.
There should be a clock in the main living room. When I arrived, the hotel had not received my reservation from Booking.com. I had to show them my confirmation from you. There should be better communication between Booking.com and the hotel.
It seems to be in need of an upgrade and has gone a little downhill since the theatre closed. Shame. But still very handy for our needs and the location is good for our purposes.
