Room style with separate bed and living room was nice. Breakfast was provided and was self serve with a good arrangement of choices.
Only double beds and no cot availability - two fullgrown teens had to double up.
My family booked there because of the water slide! One is wasn't working but also I wouldn't have let my child go on it as it was junky! My wife and kids got locked in the pool area while trying to play arcade games. The inside door handle would not open. And the heated pool area was not warm at all!!
Location -easy access to/from airport
Leisure facilities not that good, however I expect it will improve with the refurb
service size of room location
I like the location
I did not like the trash left in my room and terrible wifi and bed too too uncomfortable.
Room but no wifi
The slide was closed when it was supposed to be open, we had zero access to wifi most of our stay if we did it was to weak to do anything and the pool was disgustingly dirty "wash me" was wrote in a couple spots on the walls of the pool in the scum.. Won't stay here ever again..
When booking we should have been told the water slide and hot tub were closed as well as the restaurant. When the fire alarm went off at 12:30am staff should have spoken to us and reassured us as well as come to tell us when we could return to our rooms and assisted in having that happen in an orderly manner.
I like the room which has large beds & has microwave
The AC has a loud sond which makes me not sleep well
The location was ideal. Close to shopping and eating before we headed to the CNE.
I wasn't impressed that I paid extra for the water slide and it was hardly open on the hours that we were actually there. All of the ice machines didn't work and no one was going to give my son ice except another traveller went to the desk and asked for some as well. The wifi was not very good. The day we checked out they were doing renovations so I'm pretty sure anyone wanting a relaxing sleep in would not appreciate the hammering!
Rooms clean and in good shape.
The website for the hotel stated that the water slide opens at 6pm we went there for 6pm.. Waiting until 630 before asking front desk, she said the guard was there she was just changing and in 10 minutes the guard would be out.. At 720 (nearly an hour later) I went back to ask when it would be open they had to call the life guard.. She came 15 mins later.. My kids got a half hour to slide before they needed to go to bed.. Was a let down as one of the main reasons we went for this hotel was got the water slide
Waterslide was fun, but lifeguard was either inattentive or absent.
Front desk lady was rude, refused service to gentleman checking in. Rooms were dingy, dirty, in disrepair. Halls smelled of smoke.
* Paint from the roof was falling * Even though it was a suite, but looks like a single room
During the period of our stay, my wife noticed some red spots appearing on her body which could have come from the bedddings of the room while staying at Room 711. These are probably tiny bugs found in the bed coverings. The incident has been reported to the hotel manager which in turn given us 1 day complimentary stay. my son also had similar skin rashes in his body which I immediately referred to the doctor
The staff, cleanliness and the suite room
Very friendly staff
Air condition was broken toilet was broken sink was cracked
Rima and Ahmed were very helpful in making sure that my request was granted, for that reason I will continue to recommend to friends and family they stay at Stage west when traveling.
That there is still ongoing construction and that we lost the theater, I have been a customer of Stage west for over 30 years and miss the restaurant and some of the other amnesties
Room Pool Location Staff Free Parking
The size of the room and location was excellent for our purposes. Close or walking distance to restaurants/fast food places.
Check-in was slow as only one room booked when 2 rooms confirmed by Booking.com. Hotel said it was Booking.com's error. (did rec'd.confirmation for 2 rooms) Both rooms were not cleaned after first night.
The comfort of the room and cleaniness
The fire alarm kept going on and off in the afternoon,,, was not told it was just being tested,,, I think they should of told us when we checked in...
wi fi is terrible beds uncomfortable
great hospitality from staff, great pool especially the water slide where my kids really enjoyed it, very clean rooms, coffee and tea was available in the rooms as a great welcome. Excellent location.
I booked this room on line and when I went to check in, they had given my room away. When we use booking.com, it states check in is from 3pm till midnight. I tried to check in at 9 pm and they had already given my room away. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were the rude and ignorant. Not sure where they got their people skills from but better go back and be retrained.
The pool, water slide, hot tub and sauna
We stayed in a King Suite, the room was dimly lite, 2 of the lights had blown bulbs, no fridge or microwave like we were told we would have! Bed was as hard as a brick, the stuckle on the ceiling above our bed was falling down onto the bed! The sofa bed was ridiculous!!! We checked in 30 min after check ins were allowed and had to wait an additional 30 minutes for our room to be ready! Reserved for 2 adults and 2 children, we were supplied with 2 pillows..... Had to call down for 2 more!
Everything from front desk to our bed.
