Swans Suite Hotel    

Very! spacious, you can see the stars from the skylight :), free movies, helpfull staff, character!, well stocked kitchen, location, complimentary fruit.

Noise from the street for person who sleeps in the living room (5th or 6th person), noise (well great music actually, but with small children not convenient) from the bar/restaurant.

Very victorian and well kept.. Super location.

Service was very good,,,,music and food in the bar was very good...coffee was there early every morning......suite was very clean and very comfortable......location was very good as we could walk to alot of the attractions we wanted to see

The roar from the fan outside our bedroom window just about drove us crazy at night so this kind of dissappointing as we drove along ways to get there.....would stay at your hotel again but would insist on a room at the front of the hotel

Very comfortable and in a great location in Victoria.

Parking is a block away and subject to parking tickets if you're not careful.

We found our stay here so relaxing and the staff was extra friendly. It was close to many activities, we will be back for sure! I have rarely felt so comfortable in a hotel, and I have traveled a bunch.

The only thing I didn't like was the smell of beer coming from the bar, but that was only in the evenings in the lobby.

The service in the restaurant was very slow, both times were were there.

Good location and price point. Nice accommodations, too.

As with many small urban hotels, parking facilities are less than desirable.

Professional, friendly staff. Great brew pub attached downstairs. Room service was delicious...only wish they were available more hours. Our room was lovely, large and the kitchen was well-appointed. We were able to prepare a lovely Christmas dinner.

We had a two bedroom suite with an outdoor patio area.It was not fancy but was fine for the four grandchildren and myself.It was a bit out of the way.We used a cab a lot to go to the museums,etc.The staff was friendly.

It was a bit of a walk or cab ride to the major points of interest.

We had a fabulous suite, very spacious and with every facility and more. Staff could not be more helpful and the brewpub was excellent, great beer, atmosphere and live music every night. The location was also great, right next to Chinatown, Market Square and main shopping streets and the harbour. Wonderful juice bars, veggie restaurants and food from every nation on your doorstep.

Parking situation was terrible and not at all what I had expected when I booked the hotel.

We loved our boutique studio. We found the room charming, quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly; the staff in the pub friendly. Enjoyed some great live music our last evening in the pub. Loved the location of the hotel and would stay there again.

excellent staff. very informative and friendly. any questions were answered in a polite manner the room itself was beautiful. TV is awesome. bed was excellent. facillities included was wonderful. the extra blanket was awesome. and waterfront view was great to wake up too a liquor store in the bottom? sha-weet

more pillows. a little pricey. but not into the realms of unreasonable. needs more movie channels avalivble.

The staff was friendly and helpfull. The brewery/pub was nice and the food was good. All amenities were nearby. Would recommend Swans Suite Hotel as a great place to stay for all.

Our stay at the Swans Suite Hotel was incredible! It really made our trip to Victoria. Our room was spacious and very clean. We loved the location, shopping and port, were right there. Best part, the pub and restaurant were great. They brew their own beer, have great food, and have live music. Perfect. Please know, just because they have live music, does not mean that it is too loud. You could not hear anything from the room. Just loved this place.

Convenient location, the bar with evening entertainment and the availability for self catering if wished.

The olde-worlde feel of the hotel. Reception and waiting staff were very helpful.

No air-con in rooms which made sleeping sometimes a little uncomfortable (to hot).

Great location, fabulous history to the building, restaurant and pub "downstairs" with lovely food and beer. Room very comfortable and quiet despite being over the pub/restaurant and traffic outside.

Feel that price of parking in public open car park - no designated spaces - should have been included in the price paid for room.

This hotel is small enough to remain friendly and is in a good location for the whole area. Plenty within walking distance and easily arranged parking. Interior had some original and unusual art work in every room and public space. A little noisy late evening due to on site pub but closing windows soon stopped that. We would recommend it...and have.

Slightly noisy at night if you wanted windows open, but it is in the centre of town!

The suite we chose was for 6 people (4 adults and 2 children) There was a full kitchen but not enough dishes (like only 3 mugs and no water glasses not even in the bathroom).

Centrally located.... had restaurants on site as well as close by.... wonderful design of the 2 bedroom suite....

A 2 bedroom suite should have at least 2 bathrooms.. Air conditioning would have been appreciated

Hanging baskets outside!

Location was awful, right on the edge of rough downtown area. It didn,t feel safe and there were lots of down and outs hanging about outside the shop attached to the entrance to the hotel. Our room had a tiny window high up near the ceiling which we could not see out of , room was very claustophobic and no air conditioning. The rooms were very drab and uninspiring with awful art work, as were the corridors. Our room had a very small patio surrounded by very high walls which made us feel like we were in prison. Noisy pub adjacent to the pokey reception area.We could not wait to leave and infact it had such an adverse effect that we left Victoria as soon as we could the next day. Not a good experience, the pictures on the internet definately didn,t show the actuality of this hotel. Don,t be fooled by the designers effort of retro interior design!
