Kids had open spaces to run. They liked the animals and toys
The cottage was very basic and wifi only works a bit in the garden
We travelled as a family of four and loved our time at Teepee Meadows, wish we could've stayed longer as the view was lovely and if you enjoy being up close with the roaming animals ie Dogs, Donkey, Llama,Turkey, chickens etc then arrive earlier and enjoy !
Place clean, but beds and linens very old. Looked like small cabin was fairly new. Nice big windows.
One double bed in kitchen, second sleeping area has bunk beds where an adult cannot sit up while sitting on the lower bunk OR you can walk to an outside area where there is another queen bed in a separate room which smells of mold and mildew. Old air conditioner that does not work too well.
animals were great for our daughter Host was very nice
bed was very uncomfortable shower and bath facilities were tiny
-Setting/Location -Quiet and Picturesque -Owner gave us a quick tour of the property... a lot of things to do, but we didn't have enough time to even try some of it! :( -Cabin was well outfitted with small kitchen. Could have fixed our own supper had we arrived in time to buy some supplies.
A little distance from town (2 miles)... couldn't walk (unless you have time). Wi-fi signal was weak where we were (cabin)... and as hi-tech travelers, we depend on email and weather reports, and checking in for our next stop. It was raining so we didn't try other locations on the property.
Excellent accommodation and the environment is relaxing. We enjoyed playing with the 2 dogs, and also, we had fun with our animals.
Unique experience of being on a hobby farm. Beautiful property. Cute little cabin. Great price!
Cabin not very clean. The dogs scared our 4 year old with their rambunctious play fighting so much that he is now afraid of dogs. Too bad.
Hosts were willing to help with all your needs
A little off the main road but not a problem Saw a bear on the way in Owner was very accommodating and friendly Cabin was rustic but comfortable Owner spent sometime showing us around his property
- Brillant host with heart and beatiful spirit - harmony between nature, animals and human beeings - evening fire with our host as musician - exciting stories told by the host
My daughter likes the animals there and all of us like the cottage which is clean and comfortable. We enjoy staying there.
the sofa bed is small
the fresh air outside and visiting the animals and seeing different things as well as the great view
It was very romantic, perfect if you wanted to be alone.
So quiet here. Claude is brilliant, very friendly and helpful. His animals are great, we loved the dogs who were very friendly. His animals are really interesting. The air con was really useful as it was hot. Everything you need is here, it was a bit of a culture shock for us city folk, but so relaxing and peaceful. Great value for money.
Mosquitos! Take some really good repellent, we used "Off - Deep Woods". This place is not luxury, but has everything you need.
The matress needs to be changed. Other than That everything was perfect! The owner is a really nice person.
The host family and the place.
The guest house is really a single house - a small wood cottage， with everything ！Our host is french origin （ but he doesnt speak french ） Very friendly and warm，and its a bit on the wild side - but we thoroughly enjoy it。 quite a good version of exploration road trip。
Nothing much we don't like。 Its nothing like Motel 8 Its like living in a Europe French cottage - nothing posh ， but the flavor is there。 Which is execllent 。 Don't forget that its also a mini-zoo with cute pet animals and a warm enthusiatic greeting dog ！
Lovely place, very friendly hosts. Most adorable and comforting dogs. Great hobby farm with friendly horses. donkey, Llama, turkeys, ducks, chicken, cats. Also great view. Sorry we couldn't stay longer.
I enjoyed the stay in this cottage with a very quiet surrounding and view, feeling very relaxed. My friends loved to play with the owner' two dogs. Actually, it is a small zoo and kids will definitely love it. Will come back and recommend to friends
everything ! we spent a wonderful time .
we did not stay longer
