Featuring lush gardens and decorated with beautiful antiques and furniture, this home is located in the Castleridge district of Calgary. A homemade breakfast is served each morning. The individually styled rooms of Tending Gardens B&B feature access to a relaxing fireplace and a patio. Cable TV, a microwave and a refrigerator are also provided. Guests of Tending Gardens can enjoy the on-site hot tub. The garden area also offers barbeque facilities, a pond and a small waterfall. Shuttle service is offered from Calgary International Airport, 20 minutes’ drive away. Calgary Zoo is less than 20 km away. A highly individualistic property - a small rural retreat in the middle of a city residential area - with good access to rapid transit system. Very comfortable, outstanding food and incredibly friendly owners. My wife and I had a ball. Thanks a million, Teena and Al!! A bit short on storage space - but this is only relevant if you are carrying a lot of kit - as we were - in order to attend a conference.

Lovely! So cozy and comfortable. The space was just beautiful. Teena and Al were the best hosts, and Teena's breakfast was WONDERFUL! We'd go back in a heartbeat.

Fabulous room loved it. Teena and Al are the best host's ever. Very peaceful a slice of paradise in the city. Best B n B I have stayed at in my 6 months travelling the world. Yummy breakfast. Love the garden and water feature. That I didn't stay longer

This is a comfortable and welcoming B&B. Our delicious breakfast was served early to suit our schedule, the shower was simply the best ever, and our hosts were attentive to our needs, offering suggestions for dining and driving directions to an appointment. It is a bit tricky to find without a GPS or a good street map of Calgary.

The hosts, Al and Teena, were so welcoming. They treated us like long lost friends, and I would be more than happy to pursue a friendship with them. :)) I can't think of a single thing. The room was beautiful, comfortable and functional. The gardens were outstanding, the waterfall very soothing, the entire yard looked and felt like an oasis. All the comments in the guest signature book were positive. This is definitely a 5-star accommodation.

My husband and I stayed at numerous B&Bs in Alberta, British Ciolumbia, and Montana during our 2 week tour of the Rockies. We stayed at Tending Gardens the night before we returned home. By far, this b&b offered the best experience of all the places we stayed. Beautifully appointed with huge comfortable bed, porcelain tub, separate water closet, private porch, hot tub, and spectacular gardens with waterfall, our room as well as our hostess helped us unwind after a busy holiday. We could tell that this b&b is a labor of love for our hostess and should not be missed by anyone that has to stay in Calgary. The only thing that could have been better is if we could have stayed longer.
