Nice place.. great location... repeat customer.
A large clean comfortable room with a kitchenette at a reasonable price close to the subway and the University (I visited the University for business). The area is generally nice too, I actually like it more than the downtown, it's a residential area with a nice midtown flavor, and if you need to go downtown, subway is only 100 meters away. Lots of shopping and restaurants around too. A great hotel for a business traveller.
Garbage collection at 6am right outside my window. Not the hotel's fault, of course, and can't be really helped, probably, Montreal is a big city...
- Excellent friendly Front Desk staff - Perfect location for our needs (close to both Laval & downtown)
- Rooms (at least ours) need a major update. - Carpet, walls, towels... everything is clean yet old & worn
Onsite parking. Within walking distance of Polytechnique Montreal Near by verity of eating places.
great location with everything around, nice kitchen with a lot of kitchenware to make meals. bedroom and living room are separate
parking is extra, onsite parking is expensive
The room we stayed in was huge, featured a kitchen area complete with plates, glasses, and silver ware. In a good neighborhood, with plenty of shops and restaurants.
No air conditioner in the bed room.
This hotel is in an excellent location, near a Metro stop, bakeries, restaurants, bookstores, an all-night fruit market, and of course right below St. Joseph's Oratory. It was nice to have the kitchenette too. Bath and kitchen had been updated fairly nicely, though not the other parts of the room. It took us a while to find the parking entrance, but we were very glad to have it so nearby.
One challenge was that the (loud) air conditioner is in the living room, so we could not close the bedroom door at night or we'd roast. My son, who slept on the sofa bed, got extra chilled and little privacy. Space is very limited in both halls and room, though I understand it's the middle of the city. In general the place was cleaned pretty well but not maintained or decorated as much as it should have been. Basic white walls with peeling around the window and marks from some sort of red tape that had been on the wall long ago. Balcony wasn't too inviting, since the view out the back was of a vacant lot and miscellaneous non-scenic stuff. If you could look over that, though, there was a park-like area and what appeared to be a university beyond. Fridge was nice size and freezer worked (bring ice trays!), but the refrigerator part did not cool very much at all no matter what we did. Had to put bottles in the freezer if we wanted them cold to carry around.
This was probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in! The fully equipped kitchenette has everything you need to avoid spending money on eating out. The bed was super comfy, basically everything in the room was nice and modern, we got a nice view, there's a metro grocery store across the street, and an outdoor fruit market that's open 24/7. And that's on top of all the little restaurants, fast food, and cafes in the area. It's right next to a metro station which means most tourist attractions are really easy and cheap to get to. It's walking distance from Mount Royal. You still kind of feel like you're downtown but without all the noise that comes with it. Basically, our room was a nice, centrally located one bedroom apartment.
It was a little expensive for us but it was worth it!
Great Staff, loved having a suite, parking great- used the metro. Would stay there again when in Montreal.
Friendly staff. Regular room service. Location is perfect.
room was big
booked a non-smoking room, they gave us a smoking room, they tried telling us there were no rooms left, we told them we werent going to stay and was going to go elsewhere. only then did he tell us there was another room, non-smoking, that was slightly bigger, but did not charge us more for it.
Location. Fresh market, subway, bookstores, Starbucks, Metro, just steps away. Room clean and good size.
Parking not included, which I didn't realize. 135$/night, plus tax, plus parking. Basically, too much for me in the end. And my stay was only during the week. Weekend rates would be higher.
Smoked on balcony. They charged us a smoking fee. Do not go here. Was not happy with staff. Beware
Close to marginal restrauNts
Not much to do
Size of the room, location near metro and the Oratorio, the Cote des Neiges neighborhood, size and comfort of the bed, etc.
parking off grounds and about 1/2 mile away...
The amenities were nice, including the beds and room sizes. Rooms include even dishes, cups and utensils.
The amenities were nice, however the service was worst than poor. Actually, one staff member contributed to my low service rating. This staff was so bad he made two of us sleep outside in our car. Simply put, he did nothing to accommodate. Truly, I hope he's no longer employed.
Friendly, helpful staff. Beds were comfortable. Kitchenette was convenient to have. Quiet, even though the room faced the street.
Deceptive pictures on website. The room we had was probably as clean as it could ever be. The carpet was worn, some stains. The showerhead kept emitting a high pitched sound when running. The counters in the kitchenette were sticky. Could have used a bit of updating. Here's some advice: if reception hands you a key card to room 502, ask for a different room!
Location was excellent, right across the street from McDonalds, Starbucks, Metro grocery store, SAQ & a Metro Station! It was very nice being far enough from downtown to be with the locals but close enough to have a cheap taxi ride to downtown. Everything in the room hotel room was brand new including the kitchen & bathroom. Would stay there many times again!
The room was very spacious. Very good value for the money. Location only one block from the subway
Location Location Location room size clean

The location is excellent for work with the HEC and university. Near the Metro with an easy ride downtown.
location and facilities
The room was, large and well-appointed. The fact that it came with a kitchenette was fantastic. I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting the University of Montreal.
I was good.
