The room was a little tired looking
Everything works well, is clean, and the staff were kind to us letting us in at 12:30 am after we had a long drive up from Vancouver. We love the Caribou!
Just needs some updating. :) Colours/art on walls etc. But that is just aesthetics.
Great breakfast and friendly staff on the desk. The lady whose name i didnt get but had (like myself) some colorful tattoos was really great and helpful. Thank you for a great stay, the sunset was amazing from the balcony.
Pop machines were empty of most kinds
After after a hectic day on the road this place is a gem.
Room view was nice
Totally 80's needs to be completely redone inside the room I stayed in not even a flat screen TV
Reasonable rate. Large rooms. Comfortable bed. Very reasonable restaurant prices & good service
Restaurant atmosphere really lacking...fluorescent lights, warm & noisy.
Played the Golf Course. Well maintained. Nice fairways, the ball sits up well and there are no divots. Greens are a little slow and very challenging to read. Would recommend taking a cart because it is a little hilly. There are a few hidden holes so look at the hole layout on the tee box signs before teeing off. We really enjoyed the course and will go and play again.
Room was clean & very roomy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Golf course was nice.
The surrounding grounds need attending. Old tennis courts are used to store golf carts - looks tacky. Much of the backside of the hotel needs groomed - weeded. Pool was clean and is functional, but needs some cosmetic repairs too.
Staff was very helpful and the out door pool is wonderful! Will stay here again.
Could use some updates, the bed wasn't very comfy though :(
Great View. Nice Pool. Cheap Golf. 2:20pm 60$ cart included for 2!!!
Need some Paint inside & out!!! Resterant was closed down, but 1 across the way sufficed. Room was very noisy from people from a wedding party that was there earlier.
Location View from deck. Breakfast very good. Very quiet for sleeping
Beds were hard .
Lovely location, has potential.
Listing stated dining room for dinner, but was closed on Sunday and Monday night with NO other option for a meal on site. Wi-Fi not working in rooms, had to go to lobby.
It requires updating. WiFi did not work. TV probably 20 years old
View was great location was good. Room was clean.
The disposible plates, cups and cutlery at the continental breakfast. No need for this. Not at all impressed with this. You could have better choices for food e.g.. plain yogurt not super sweet berry yogurt. More healthy choices. In the long run it will be a money saving change to real dishes that can be washed and reused.
Restraunt was unavailable to registered guest due to tournament, poor direction to alternative and not advised a reservation was needed. A small map to locate alternate eatery would be appreciated.
they had camping facilities
that the camping facilities were sub par whether "full hook up" or "partial hook ups".
Convenient location, good pool, size of the room, good bed, great view
Squeaky floor from the room above, Shower head in need of replacement
nice golf course and all the staff were friendly. also nice breakfast.
We enjoyed our 1 night stay and next time will plan to stay longer. The golf course was very long, good thing we booked a powrr cart.
The facility is in need of some care, especially the gardens.
The rooms were clean and easily accessible to amenities offered. Breakfast was good.
Rooms obviously need updating. The wallpaper is falling off, carpet is old and the toilet leaked. For breakfast they ran out of yogurt one day but didn't replenish for the next day.
The resort is located close to the Hwy and easy to find. The restaurant across the street on an air strip (Hangers) was very good and reasonably priced. The golf course was excellent, although a bit of a tough walk but the pool after was a reward.
Our room was very dated (peeling wallpaper, decor from 30 years ago) but large and clean. The resort has a lovely location with a view of the lake. The pool is a great size and great temperature.
Clearly this hotel has seen better days and is rather faded, however the most negative thing about our stay there was the behaviour of other guests. The first day we were at the pool with our child a large group - maybe 15 people - of guests were drinking, had glass bottles at the pool, were swearing an incredible amount, smoking non-stop, and pushing each other in the pool. Funny thing is that they were not teens or young adults but rather mostly older adults who should really know better. The pool deck was littered with empties and cigarette butts that stayed there well into our second day. We did not see staff approach this group to request that they be more respectful of the other guests.
Great spot but it's aging.... Friendly staff
bathrooms need some maintenance/upgrades
Quiet location. Good night sleep.
Older hotel. Needs upgrading.
