Location They put inappropriate charges on my account, didn't tell me and hid the charges on the bill so I couldn't find them. Also, they charged more than what was arranged through Booking, com and told me if I didn't like it to go elsewhere. So they tried to steal from me , tried to cheat me out of money, lied to me and basically told me to go to hell if I didn't like it!!! NEVER give your business to people who cheat you out of money and lie to you.

Friendly staff, kitchenette, clean rooms, convenient location, good value for money. Lovely park nearby. Room smelled 'stale' if windows were closed (opening windows solved problem). 'Thin' walls allowed noise from other guests to be heard. Nearby school was noisy.

Friendly, helpful staff...clean room, comfy bed, nice kitchenette. Really liked being able to open the window on the warm days. Close to shops, restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store and transit. Liked it a lot and will gladly go back. Found the deodoriser had too strong a scent so I bought some air freshener.

Friendly, efficient staff. Location; easy walking distance to many choice locations for food and entertainment. Good old fashioned value. Early check in, late check out; perfect.

I looked for budget friendly hotel in Toronto and found The Alexandra online through Booking.com. We were not disappointed. It is not fancy but clean and comfortable and a great location to explore Chinatown or Kensington Market. It is on a dead end street with a beautiful park next door.. Our room had 2 beds-a double & single, a little kitchenette(stove & refrig). Table and chairs and a desk. It also had a big closet and a clean bathroom. The people we encountered at front desk were all very friendly and helpful. Loved that there was parking onsite. We would definitely stay there again. Our only complaint was that the room tended to be very warm even with the thermostat turned all the way down. We abandoned flannel PJ's for T-shirts and slept fine.

The night shift man was extremely friendly and helpful!! All in all a good stay for the money we paid! Safe and good location! As contrasted with the night shift man, the woman in the morning/day shift was extremely unfriendly and incurious in our question and wishes!!! Maybe she should work somewhere else, if she won´t be asked anything!

The Hotel was in a quiet area, the facilities were spartan but they were clean. Parking was only 5$ a day. The Kitchenette was handy. The TV though old had lots of channels. All in all, it was decent value for the money. This is not a 3 or 4 star fancy hotel, but it was clean and well located and priced right. I will book again. The rooms had kitchenette but the hotel itself had no restaurant or eating facility. No big deal really for us but might be for others.

Good peaceful location, easy access to city centre, on site parking, value for money. Nothing too bad to say about this htel, don't expect more than you are paying for. It is generally clean but looking a bit tired.
