Very close to Ryerson University
Run down facilities. As an example spiders and cobwebs in our room. Bed sheets had stains and rips. The twin mattress was terrible...all springs no padding.
Room facilities and cleanliness
location. Value of the money paid is not fair
Large nice room, good for the Money I payed, good location close to major attractions.
They do not supply that much of bath things: just 3 soaps... Nice location overall however maybe not so good for people planning to go to hotel after 9pm
close to the mainstreets and you're in downtown already.
price/night; kettle should've been electric because to make water boiled on a stove takes up to 20 minutes seriuosly!, that's ain't good !
Well located...There were no other options in Toronto, all others were full! So I was greatful to find it but if there is place in 4 or 5 stars you will NOT see me here again.
Old building. Not a hotel...more like an apt.
Staff thats always to help you with directions, taxi orders...
The non smoking rooms smell like dirty ashtrays and stripper perfume.
Fast check in.
dirty. smelly. outdated everything.
One double bed was too soft
Pr oximity to shops and entertainment Kitchen facility allowed for small individual meals and snacks when needed.
Room service & nice place for tourist
Being in the city
Pricey, one small twin bed, confusion on booking
the location is good, the "great food" and chinatown is so close.
the hot water in bathroom not stable when I shower with my son, it makes us unhappy
It was clean and nice and a great stay
Air conditioning wasn't very good, we were very hot all night.
great location and quiet comfortable beds
not the most attractive or roomy
Nothing. We left after 1 night
The location was bad. Not comfortable walking around outsided at night. Room was like a bad dorm room. The price they charged was outrageous for what you got. You had to give a deposit for a hair dryer and it didn't even heat up. When I told them it wasn't working they did not seem to care. We booked a much better hotel for our second night and it was cheaper then what we paid at the Alexandra. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Way Way overpriced. They should be charging $75/night. I will not go back.
> Location is nice. Close to China Town and Queen street. Walk 15 minutes to reach the closest subway. Secure place. > Room: They are always giving the best rooms, to those who are staying for the first time. View was great. Very clean. Bed was nice. Fridge, microwave, kitchen sink was nice. Bathroom was organized and towels were clean. > Staff: Nice and helpful. > Price: Could be 25% less. They are not there yet. They should be.
> It was expensive. > The toaster was in a really dirty condition. > Cleaning lady didn't came every day. > Air condition was old and sloppy. Made really annoying noise.
Close to downtown and Go system
Building is old smelly and needs upgrades
Lovely staff with lots of helpful advice. Onsite parking (at a reasonable rate). Free coffee available all day and very comfortable and quiet rooms. Great locations in a very vibrant and eclectic part of town.
No breakfast and there is also a limitted choice locally before 10am. But if you're up for a stroll it is not really a problem.
Room have kitchenette fridge big bathroom couch wifi is fast bed was comfortable , walking distance to a lot of bars and stores
TV is outdated but has full cable programming
the rooms were not clean.. the hotel wasnt clean
Location, value for money paid, kitchenette well equipped, spacious enough, comfortable
Room smelled, bathroom kinda dirty, tiny tv, no hotel book to say what nearby restaurants or taxis are available, old furniture
The kitchen allowed us to prepare the food that we liked. The location gave us easy access to transportation and there was a large park next to the hotel. The beds were very comfortable enabling us to have a good nights sleep, and housekeeping kept the room clean. It was good value for the accommodations.
My son did not like the single bed and the rooms did not come with two full size beds. I am a disabled veteran and one of the staff gave us a hard time in regards to parking, as we were over the white line because the van next to us was over the line and the staff made us move our car and the next morning the other car had not been moved.
I really enjoyed my stay. Will be back again.
Did not feel safe as other people had and used the key while I was in the room
