For a small downtown hotel it has all our needs.Just min from Toronto western hospital and the down town core at a very reasonable price. This was our third stay and we will be back.I just dont know why the hospitals dont recommonend it more I sure could have used it when my wife had her transplant
The property is at the end of a quiet street that abuts a park. It is an easy walk from Dundas Street or Princess Street. Plenty of restaurants and shops of all types close handy. Helpful staff.
We've stayed there before - suits our needs just fine.
I found the pillows so hard there was no give to them - uncomfortable
quiet ; good bed ; clean
The place was clean. The receptionist was friendly and helpful.
The facilities were outdated. The TV was something out of the seventies. The only channels available were the free ones. The picture quality was very poor. The toilet had to be flushed twice whenever it was used. There was no iron. A notice said you could get it from the reception
bed and everything was fine except a good chair, a lot of people are from the hospital and need comfort while watching tv
no comfortable chair to relax on. hard chairs ok for eating
We liked the proximity to hospital, Check-in staff was very pleasant, friendly and helpful.
location and price
everything was just "mediocre". Nothing more.
friendly staff ! and good location for us to walk around Queen Street and go to different bars and eats. will definitely stay here again !
AC was difficult to control.

Please read location and area review in Google .will stay only for the price or a quick stay
near downtown + wi-fi
people screaming near by (in the park) also I could hear very clearly other tenants (paper thin walls)
The location was excellent, near 3 main roads with street cars, also it took about 20 mins to walk to the lake or downtown. The hotel was quiet, staff were friendly and helpful. It was probably good value for money and meant we could eat out, and do other tourist attractions without our budget being used up on hotels. The carpet seemed fairly new and the bed, bedding and mattress looked very clean/new. The bathroom was clean, plenty of hot water and towels changed daily. We used the laundry which was useful and cheap.
Kitchen area was dated, very few items of crockery and was a bit greasy. There were quite a few spider's webs in the room which should have been spotted and cleaned. There appeared to be a few people who were resident in the hotel and at first this made us feel apprehensive. (There were no problems however and we soon felt comfortable and safe). There was a strong smell of smoke which wafted through from the room next door.
facilities unfriendly staff
Really less expensive than other hotel in the same area. Close to restaurants. You can have a small kitchen in your room for less than a regular room elsewhere.
I loved absolutely everything wouldnt change a thing the people were extremely nice too.
Just said I loved everything!
No breakfast offered
very clean and well maintained hotel overlooking Alexandra park, close to a lively part of Queen Street. Good value for money.
At times the internet connection dropped to a low speed.
Warm, friendly greeting when checking in, followed up by a freshly brewed, nice, strong cup of coffee, free of charge. 2 cokes and 2 small bags of chips added up to the mere sum of 3 dollars. In short: Excellent value for the money!
Handy to transit Coin laundry & iron on each floor Borders on a large, busy park Handy to shops & restaurants of Chinatown & Queen Street Friendly, helpful staff Well-equipped kitchen, including dishes, utensils, etc.
The hotel location was excellent! The beds were fairly comfortable.

I enjoyed having friendly staff to greet us and enjoyed having all of the necessities of a home... Kitchenette... Comfy beds... TV and washroom!! Sure it could be updated but seriously it was just fine for our 5 night stay!
Location was ok coupled with decent value for money including WiFi quality.
Still an outdated interior and no flatscreen tv.
