I was in the Amsterdam Guest House, I liked to stay there, is good place, clean and wonderful, but is necessary to start to use the credit card, because is not easy to have cash all time, I think next year I will be there. I didn't ask about internet that is ready or not, but if is not is necessary to have, to use for emails, Skype and another communication. Best Regards, Ricardo Maro

The building was clean and well maintained. Was greeted by a very nice man who showed me to my room and around the hotel. The shared bathroom idea is still odd for me, there was no hot water in the tank for a shower at 4 pm. The area is very sketchy and would not suit foot traffic at evenings. Hotel is ment for a budget traveller.

Friendly staff, clean room and amenities, basic but good value for money. There were bed bugs on the second night of our stay.

Friendly proprietor. Very warm room with fridge, tv and microwave. Plenty of towels provided. Quiet location within easy reach of downtown Toronto. Would have liked proper cups to be provided and it needs a small kitchen area.

The owners (who are very nice Vietnamese people) are huge smokers, and the smell lingers all over the hotel. Shared bathrooms isn't my cup of tea either. Other than that it was fine.

Great location and accomidations for price. Close to downtown. Friendly staff. Trolly car goes by the house No where to park but street and it's expensive. Made the mistake of taking cabs everywhere instead of using the trolly.

The price was pretty good, and I was in Toronto with the intention of going to an appointment with a panel physician. This guest house was within walking distance of my appointment. The shared restroom was not clean. There were hairs and toothpaste in abundance, and the hallways were very narrow-unsafe in case of fire. There was no phone in my room, but I suppose that was to be expected for the price.

Really good room, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean but pretty small. However, there are strange people living downstairs that are scarry and it made us very uncomfortable.
