- Very Clean - Good Wifi - Underground Heated Parking - Nice Hot Tub was VERY hot
- Steam Room didn't work first night - Jets in Hot Tub didn't work at all - Temperature control in the room was very poor very hot if heat on at all - Breakfast was so so there were freezer burnt muffins 2nd day
It was not far to walk to the city centre. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is average. The room was small and our king bed was actually a queen. It served its purpose, place to shower and sleep, nothing special. Probably wouldn't stay there again.
Parking is challenging, under ground parkade had limited number so park your car and don't move it or risk having to find street parking. Also the smell of exhaust from the parkade is overwhelming in the elevator and follows you into the hallways(may be why you get a good nights sleep). The bathroom door faced the bed-no privacy.
the spacious room, more importantly the bed ;)
remote for television had no guide bottom.
very accomodating staff
the whole place was under renovations.
The bed and pillows were super comfortable! The free breakfast was great, and the room was very well kept.
This was my first stay at the Banff Inn hotel and would never stay here again! Terrible experience with incompetent staff.
The bedding was good and the bar and the girl at the bar
Floors on the first floor was really cold. The cards for the doors were really slow in response.
Rooms look fairly nice as well as the exterior
Breakfast lacked gym and pool and a good breakfast
Bed was amazing... That's about it.
Hotel was under Reno's.. Lots of drunk people in the night that were loud.. Carlitos food was plain to say the least. Whirlpool is a lot smaller then it looks. Good for the price
Really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. Staff were very helpful. Ten minute walk to downtown Banff.
Decor in the rooms is very outdated, bathrooms need a major overhaul.
staff was friendly and helpful. Clean, cute inn
Needed some hot options for breakfast with those chilly Banff mornings :)
Good location, friendy staff.
Breakfast to simple, need to upgrade, have more options.
The room on the 3rd floor had very high ceilings and was spacious and clean. The hot tub, sauna and steam room area was large and clean also. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again. Free underground parking was great for winter too.
Everything was either as expected or better - no negatives.
Nice bed, standard cont breakfast, quiet room.
Parkade full, no fan in bathroom.
Love the price, and the staff were all very friendly.
We stayed in a loft room. There were two T.V's and neither of them worked. Staff attended twice to look at the problem but it was never fixed and I wasn't able to watch TV when I had down time. The room was also a bit dirty and dated.
Room is comfortable.
No meat in the breakfast. A little bit far to walk to downtown. A car per room when the hotel get full.
the staff I dealt with were rude, as well as the waitress in the hotel restaurant. Will never go there again.
How I said it was our honeymoon and we didn't receive anything or offered anything for our honeymoon! Not offered an upgrade! Continental breakfast is terrible!! Could use more options!
For our event, location was excellent. Staff helpful and friendly. Large room.
Wi-Fi wouldn't work at all, room phone broken, breakfast could have more choices, variety. Interesting that parkade was full- not enough stalls if hotel is full I guess. Had to park far away.
The rooms are large and clean. The stuff was very helpful.
More variety in the breakfast
Quiet peaceful room, comfortable bed
Hotel was clean, the bed some comfortable and the staff at the front desk were very helpful and nice.
Our shower was terrible, any slight adjustment sent it scolding hot or ice cold. The "breakfast" was a sad selection and absolutely no consideration for gluten free or lactose free dietary needs. Coffee was also dreadful.
First impressions, the lobby was efficient and the staff were knowledgeable and personable. The lobby wasn't busy and it was easy to get around. The hotel's location is also good as it is just walking distance to the centre street but far enough that you don't get too much foot traffic. I liked the cleanliness of the room, although it could be refurbished. The room (227) area was ample. The bathroom was well-maintained and they provided an empty mini-fridge and a coffee machine (with two ground coffee packs and beverage condiments). Overall, I think it's a good, mid-prized option.
The rooms need to be updated and refurbished. While the room was clean, the carpet is in dire need of replacing. One other improvement I'd like to suggest is that the breakfast needs to be a couple of degrees more upscale. It just hits the minimum level of a continental breakfast. It should be better presented and have a bit more variety and content. While it's still better than other hotel/lodges, I've experienced in Banff, I feel like the price range should include a better breakfast option.
The hot tub and steam room was beautiful. The rooms basic but very clean and comfortable. We were very happy with our stay!
Overall not really any complaints an updated room would have been the only thing to top it off.
Comfy, cheap, spacious, & wonderful location
Outdated shower/ bathroom
