Location Cleanliness Comfort
Lift small and slow - stairs better. Lack of in room tea and coffee - some at reception but no milk for tea and sometimes cold.
- Location - Design of the rooms - Good wifi
- Glass(transparent) door to the bathroom in a twin-room
Close to major shopping and attraction amazing restaurants and night life right out the doors
Little bathroom privacy
Great location for downtown visits for baseball, hockey or entertainment. Small space with modern & comfortable bed. A room to sleep in but not hangout / entertain. You go there to sleep, shower & change as your entertainment is elsewhere.
A painfully slow small phone booth of a elevator. The hotel is essentially a 4 level walk-up. The rooms are on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th floors.
The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect for us. We were there for a concert and were able to walk right to Rogers Arena. It was also walking distance to Eaton Center and all the shopping we wanted to do. Hotel was clean and nice, perfect size for us. Staff were very friendly.
The only thing I would like to see different, is the door to the bathroom. We found it was tough to close and sometimes got needed 2 people to help open it.
The hotel was very cute and it was in a location that was close to many different places.
The rooms were extremely tiny and the bathrooms had barely any privacy.
location was great very clean
very noisy rooms very small not what expexted for a 4.5 rating hard place to find even taxi didnt know where it was
Rooms too small, see through bathroom, with a door which did not shut properly, stairway outside the window,
Location, staff and patio were fantastic.
The room was a bit too warm to sleep really well ( the AC wouldn't turn down below 60 and even at that temperature didn't seem to be cooling the room)
No windows in the room ! Very small bedroom, lavatory installaed in the room. No lift
The cleanliness of the room. It served it's purpose
Parking was an issue. We were told that parking was 10$ and that we could park across the street at the shoppers drug mart. Our car was about to be towed when we arrived at 7am. We then found out that parking was 35$ and that we should have never parked there overnight. Very disappointing.
Room was quite small but really nice - very comfortable bed and hip design elements. Good location in the heart of a shopping strip. Nice restaurant and rooftop bar open till 11 or 12. I was very happy with this hotel.
Used a local parking lot which was quite expensive to park in overnight, so not great if you have a car. Wifi was working great on my laptop but intermittent on my phone - not sure why.
WiFi worked very well.
Room was very tiny.
Great, great location. comfortable and clean room. The bed was great ! The style of the room was great, too.
I was in a noisy room near the elevator. They have a great roof top patio, but no one told be before I checked in. And the completely transparent glass walls for the bathroom ? yark. I am glad I was on my own.
Rooftop bar and simplicity of the room
Occassionally the temp of the shower would fluctuate
I loved my stay. We both just think alittle bit of privacy is needed in the bathroom. Alittle too open of a bathroom.besides that loved it.
Staff were very accommodating and friendly. The only downfall was some of the rooms did not have windows and they were quite small, but the bed linens made ip for the size of the room. The best quality linens and down pillows were very comfortable. Yes, the Hotel is very narrow in structure, but the atmosphere of the staff and quality of the design used in the hotel were exquisite.
The first room we had did not have a window.
Location is suberb. Both folks at the front desk were very pleasant. Free apples offered, and coffee/tea station in lobby was nice to have at 5:30AM as I was checking out.
I thought I was getting a great last minute deal. I didn't know the hotel, and found my self in Toronto needing to unexpectedly stay overnight. For the discounted price, I was somewhat shocked at the size of the room. Lack of a bedside table without reading light was not welcome. If I had a companion with me I certainly would not have liked the clear glass bathroom walls. First time in a very very long time, I had a room without a coffee maker. Parking across the street was $35 - ouch.
- Receptionist very friendly - Clean - Roof bar very trendy - Good location
- Nobody to help with luggage - Double Room is VERY VERY small - We had an opaque window making the room claustrophobic - Shower had moments of boiling water then cold water making it uncomfortable to have a shower after a 24hour trip - Elevator was VERY VERY slow.. around 50seconds to go up 1 floor - Manager did not bother to come and talk to us after we complained about the shower
clean friendly good location
it is not really a hotel more a "clean youth hostel" very claustrophobic feel AC not strong not working well - feels "suffocatiing" bed small, room too small....cannot open suitcase to lay anywhere
Location, design, clean, very up to date staff on hot spots in Toronto and lots of magazines on the city.
Wifi is very slow in the rooms, the deal gives you a single occupancy room even for two adults, if you happen to be at the reception floor you might get a lot of noise even at late hours.
Location was great, close to everything, staff was super friendly, flexible and helpful.
It was a bit small
extreme helpful and friendly staff, close to Toronto's landmarks, very clean and designy rooms, very comfortable bed.
weak wifi signal, single rooms too narrow to open a larger suitcase.
excellent location renovated and clean
No windows in the room Very small rooms
It was in a good location, on a strip. Food and liquor was nearby. Staff was very helpful. Room and hotel as a whole was clean.
No separate bathroom. Bathroom is a part of the room with a flimsy cover in front.. Shower is visible from entire room. Which may be nice for a couple but not heterosexual male traveling friends. The bathroom being so non-intimate doesn't even seem appropriate for couples. I didn't check the reviews though.
