No elevator to 2nd floor for hauling luggage/ or customer with mobility issues. Lobby not open until 8am.

Location is good short drive from Pier and in front of a small Mall.

Expensive for what it offers. No options in town. Needs remodeling.

Rather a dreary run down outside area. Ice machine not working. Room obviously for two beds but only one in it. Spartan furnishing so room looked empty

Location, the staff were freindly

Poor value for the money. The facility is in poor shape. The carpet in the room had stains. The room has a portable heater. The stairwell to the street was revolting. The convention centre has seen better days. The building facade was done. The room was not worth more than $55 a night.

Beds were comfortable and clean

Old decor and badly in med of renovations. Cleaning staff did not do a good job on the room Dirty coffee cups not replaced. Mildew on bathroom tiles and vanity detached from wall. Room and hotel is just "tired". Found better motels with as good location for cheaper price.

Central location on Sunshine Coast

Heater didn't work well - knobs fell off and consequently could not be well controlled (either Off or On).

The service was above and beyond... We needed a pair of pants hemmed and with one call the front desk clerk had someone at our room to take care of us..

We were quoted a price as were curling the the bc Senior Mens Playdowns of $79 a night but were charged $99. There explanation was there were only 13 rooms booked. This was impossible after asking other teams there at least 20+ rooms booked. This is not a lot of money but was very dissapointed. There is no way to redeem the money but maybe we will think twice about booking here again. I am sure the Gibsons Curling Club throws alot of business your way so make sure you support them any way you can.....

No elevators, lots of steps to carry up luggage, maids cleaning room while we were in the room never made the beds just left. I probably would not stay here again.

Quiet. Convenient location.

Hot tub out of service. Horrified to find 3 egg size red brown stains on the yellowish shower curtain. Tub tile grout had major mould scattered through at least 40% of the wall. Nothing a good bleaching and scrubbing could not handle. This is a health department issue. Interestingly sink, toilet, floor appeared clean. Who is on the cleaning staff? Performance review needed! Education required. One of the two queen beds in our room was sloping downwards at the foot of the bed. Upon inspection we found the wheel and leg were broken. The attempted repair using nylon rope was evident and obviously ineffective. This is a huge safety issue. Was maintenance aware? Fridge icebox created ice on its door that fell unto the floor when you opened the fridge door. But I could not get my water to freeze. Again maintenance issue. Desk person stated she would report problems and offered her apology. No offer of compensation or rate adjustment was made when these issues were reported.

Very tired beat up rooms, the whole building looked like it was starting to fall apart. Our door was warped and jammed at the top, bathroom floor had black mould under the linoleum, bedspreads and beds looked like they were ready for the junk yard, curtains falling off the rails....very tired run down looking place for 130/night

the gentleman at the front desk was extremely nice and very helpful.

place needs a lot of work, to upgrade. air conditioner did not work, carpets were filthy. bathroom had mould.

Location was GREAT. LOVED the pool! Rooms were tidy and very spacious, I was impressed by the private patio attached to the room! Great for coffee in the morning :)

The other guests were a bit noisy late into the night and my room was right near a common area which amplified sound.

Room smelled like cigerettes and the cleanliness wasn't the best. I found it in bad form that when we finally arrived to check in at 8pm we had to call the front desk clerk on his cell and it took him over 30 minutes to show up??? Totally unacceptable.

There was a mix up at the front desk and at 11pm a man walked in to our room while we were sleeping. The next morning someone from the front desk called and woke us up at 8am. I was told that someone had put us in the wrong room and it was for someone else. I am understanding that mistakes happen but it was a lot of confusion for one night and we will probably look for some were else to stay next time.

The staff was very friendly. There was no place to put our bikes but they managed to put them in the banquet room so they were safe. The room were clean. Good place to go sleep at night after a long day of biking!

Hot tub was not in service.

The web advertising did not fairly represent the quality of the facility. It sounded and looked like a decent place to stay but really, it's a second-rate hotel. Bad bed linens and cigarette burns in the bedspread!

Looks terrible from the outside - makes you want to run away! Location is a bit far from the sea no opening windows in room means a lack of oxygen and a fire hazard

It was excellent value; centrally located; quiet; clean;comfortable and very roomy - thank you.

Nice big room and great hot tub
