The Chimo Hotel    

Always seems to be a lot of young people staying there & music noise from the road house next door

The staff especially Veronique who was very helpful and always smiling. never too busy to answer all my questions. You can tell she really cares about the guests' well-being.

The inconsistency of the housekeeping department. Not cleaning the bathrooms or room properly. There were still hair on the floor, the used towel was not taken away, there was tissue and qtip that fell on the floor since day 1 that was not cleaned up. The used cups that were not taken away and basically, the inconsistency of the room cleaning.

Well cleaned.

Rugs were quite dirty but well vacuumed. Missed out on breakfasts because clerk on check in forgot to mention it was included.Paid elsewhere for our morning lunch. Time for rejuvenation.

it was not as clean, the bathroom had mold and was dirty. there was a hair on my pillow and several strands of hair were hanging from the bedside lamp, what the hair was doing there i dont know bu it was quite disgusting.

I liked the beds very comfortable and the pool was great

I did not like paper cups instead of glasses and cups also we did not have our soap and shampoo refreshed when the room was made up for our second night

They did not have 2 rooms booked as per my reservation.

The food and service in the restaurant were excellent. We hope this continues when Holiday completes their renovations.

The room was very satisfactory, clean and quite large.

I didn't like the feel I got from staff like I was some kind of idiot. I wasn't aware that a deposit is required if you use a debit card ($150) which is refundable, if you don't destroy the room or smoke in a non-smoking room. Neither my mom or I smoke and there was never any intent to destroy the room. We were there for my mom's doctor appointment which was for 7am the next morning. I found the staff very rude and I felt uncomfortable with them.

The Chimo Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. We were in Ottawa to attend our grand daughter's hockey tournament. The staff seemed to put us on a floor that didn't have hockey groups on the same floor. Therefore it was quiet at night for sleeping. We had a family emergency and had to leave early The hotel were very understanding and did not hold us to the 4 night that we had booked. Thank You Chimo

I think that the Pub could have seen that extra staff was needed to cover the dinner rush. I think that the chef could maybe could do a bit better job of quality control. It may have been because of the amount of people staying at the hotel but I did find that the food was often over cooked on the Pub side at dinner time. :(

Every staff member we met was polite friendly and helpful. Breakfast in Clancy's was made even more enjoyable by the wait staff. We have stayed there 3 times for girls hockey tournaments and it surprises me every time how nice an quiet it is. Great experience every time.

Curtains and bedding could be changed as they are getting threadbare but that really is nothing to complain about as they don"t affect the stay.

Everything!!! A very nice hotel with confortable rooms, very nice and big rooms, nice pool with warm water. Very nice screen in lobby with tourist information. So it is a very very nice hotle

The floor had not been vacuumed under the bed.

That it had a pool.

That I got chemical burns from the swimming pool which the staff dismissed. My hands were bleeding and they shrugged it off. Do not use the pool if you stay here.

Excellent hotel the price was right and it was just as nice as bigger named hotels like the delta, weston, and the hilton I have stayed in all of these and the chimo was just as nice at half the price I highley recommend.

That it didnt have a hot tub

always like staying at Chimo Hotel.....close to everything and easy to get to from the highway! Comfortable, relaxing.

Definitely could benefit from installing grab bars in bathrooms, even though this would be quite the expense.

The fact that I left my purse in drawer in room and it was returned to me intact and quickly...thank you

i have stayed at a lot of hotels in my life but this one was accessible to all amenities.

tthe response i got when i advised them i was paying 129.00 per night as compared to the other team parents who were paying 76.00 per night !!! i was told it was because i booked through Booking . Com that i received such a terrible rate on my room and it could not be changed ?????
