With age and character the house is showing some wear and tear. We noticed some tiles and floor boards were loose beneath a few of the many rugs.
Also, the doors have shifted over time so that they let in a significant amount of light in the morning - and wouldn't be too difficult to peep through, either.
While the neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, it can be quite difficult to travel to and from the Columns as traffic is limited over the nearby bridge and one-way streets.
Owners were hospitable and friendly, with many interesting stories to share.
Breakfast was diverse and delicious, featuring a variety of cold items with a different hot entree each morning.
The house as a whole has a ton of character to explore, from the beautiful hardwood living room to the spacious outdoor patios.
