The Cove Country Inn & Spa  

Hotellet er beliggende I et utroligt smukt område. Alt er fredeligt og roligt, og familien der ejer -og bor på stedet er meget rare og imødekommende mennesker. Hotellet er kendt lokalt som et godt madsted, hvor der som extra bonus spilles fin livemusik 1-2 gange om ugen. Det oplevede vi, og det var vældig hyggeligt. Vi var lidt kede af, at vi kun skulle være der i 2 dage.

The Cove is a beautiful old country Inn with a warm, friendly, family based service that is rarely found in this day and age. The setting lovely, food excellent, rooms warm and comfortable. The hosts go out of there way to meet each guest and thus ensure that personal service is above and beyond the norm. Will stay there on each subsequent visit.

We love this place. We call it our cottage. The annex has the best view of the lake and birds.

The staff

Very quite seanic spot. Family run and very friendly staff. Would return for another visit. Many shops and grocery store on main street. Also in house jazz on thurs. is good.

We have visited The Cove for the past 8 years and have stayed in most of the rooms. All are tastefully decorated in different colours, with antiques spread throughout. Wonderful family run business who don't forget a face. Two glasses of wine in the room to welcome you, relax by the pool looking out onto the lake and hear the silence! Arrive on a Thursday and listen to a little jazz in the lounge in the evening. Unload and put your feet up after golf and shopping - bliss!

Loved the location. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Staff very eager to ensure comfort.

It was very warm when we were there. The only a/c was a window one which was in bad shape and very noisy. We did not have a good night,s sleep. Would not return in summer.

Great value for money although somewhat noisy in front early in am.

No info or bath samples available for jacuzzi tub- motor did not appear to work-or barely made any noise Brief info to get it going would be helpful Lack of available outlets- a discreetly stored power par would help with laptops,chargers for cell phones etc Had issues with WiFi reception although after multiple attempts It worked.

This is a relaxing place in a great location. The staff are friendly and casual. Breakfast was adequate, though not inspiring. Overall, we enjoyed the stay there.

The general feeling one gets is that the facilities are somewhat in disrepair. Also there are lots of little steps, not clearly marked and poorly lit, and these are somewhat of a hazard. Things could be improved by installing motion-detecting lights.

We have been to the Cove many times. The staff are friendly and warm and will make your stay very pleasurable. They often have jazz or blues nights to choose from.

Perfect distance for a short get- away from Kingston...total displacement within forty minutes!

My husband and I enjoyed the exception view - overlooking the water. The Inn is full of antiques and that gives it a very homey feeling. The owner, a warm and charming lady, was very discreet in how she made her presence known. The above-ground pool was great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The food at the Inn is very good.

We were surprised to find cobwebs in the corners of the room! We weren't impressed
