Guest areas nice
Room very old and shabby, thermostat hanging off wall, bed sheets had holes in. No one asked on checkout if may stay was ok.
Comfortable bed and clean linen. Convenient to have bar fridge and coffee machine. Fabulous views of the city.
bathroom is older and without a fan
Great view of mountains! Ocean!
Great view! Comfortable bed, courteous staff
First impression when coming from Parkade, very badly soiled carpets !
Front, Noise from all installment such as heater
well located, quiet compared to the more central downtown hotels, room had a great view.
bed,..livable but hard and uncomfortable,...rooms are tired looking but clean and for the price i shouldnt complain.
Location! Had a great view of the city. I do not have a fear of heights so I stayed at the 37th floor! Amazing. Good price.
The rooms needs a bit of TLC but everything was clean and like I said, the location and price were unbeatable.
My comments are clear in the ratings. The revolving restsaurant/lounge was a lovely place from which to see a great view of the city. I also liked our room being on the 26th floor.
The meal prices at the Cloud 9 restaurant were higher than the quality of the meal; there was no chance of having a light breakfast.
Good location Great views
Room was VERY cold. In the corridors on the 34th floor you could hear the wind howling out from under people's bedroom doors. Clearly very poor insulation going on. Turning the thermostat up made no difference. Was disturbed every day by cleaners wheeling trolleys on floors above me. Very loud. Decor very old fashioned and tired looking.
Our room was quite comfortable with large beds, a small fridge (no minibar) and an espresso machine. The room also had a very large window and a small balcony, with a very nice view on Vancouver city. Very kind personnel which handled our delayed baggage very well.
Appliances, light switches and so on very showing a bit of age, but were perfectly ok. WiFi was a bit flaky sometimes.
Always friendly and proactive as to wifi, late checkout, early billing.
Views were spectacular! Staff friendly and helpful, restaurant breakfast buffet very reasonably priced with good tasting food and great coffee.
Could use new carpet, an extra towel or two, and instructions how to use the ancient AC&Heat controller.
The view from our room. The prompt service from housekeeping when we requested more pillows and towels. Assistance from front desk was excellent concerning cabs, directions, and pretty much anything we asked them.
The coffee - very weak We were 4 people booked into our room and they never left enough towels.
Location was good.
Bathroom could have been updated.
Getting face towel and hand towel was not easy; a day would elapse and still not face and hand towels. As nearly as I could tell, only if I asked for them would they be supplied.
Our stay was a little to short, but if u have a few days, it would be a nice location for the dwn twn shops & restaurants(Tim Horton's a block away) or a game/concert.
We were on the tenth floor smoking room, and clearly that's not all that pple were smoking, thr was a strong smell in the hallway that night. But anyway I wish they would have those smoking rooms on a higher level for a better view of the city.
Location is good
The location is great, in the Downtown next to Granville street. The stuff is nice. The front desk lady was welcoming and provided me with an outlet to charge my phone.
In the middle of the night I woke up and I was afraid that there is water running in the room or there are mice. Then I understood that this heater reproduces some noises. I try to find the earplugs but I forgot them at home. I was tortured for couple hours and then I fell asleep. You supposed to turn it a little and not much.
view location price clean
the hotel offers nothing but a place to sleep
The views were incomparable! Hands down amazing! Unbeatable location for the price.
Parking wasn't free. The rooms were pretty outdated. It took us 15 minutes to figure out how to turn the heater on. And the balcony railing we felt was kind of low and unsafe. The tv remote was difficult. The bathroom was very small, awkward and the most obviously outdated place in the room.
The revolving restaurant is fantastic! We had breakfast (which doesn't revolve), cocktails, dinner and after-dinner drinks. The staff there are pleasant and helpful.
Being charged $5 to print our boarding pass! - petty and unnecessary for the hotel's paying customers
The space, the location
The WiFi is bad
Bathrooms need to be up-dated
Fast, friendly service
pay-for wi-fi, lack of in-house all-day food and drink options
