The Fairmont Waterfront is an excellent hotel, great sheets, great smell in the lobby, great location, great pool and we were helped superbly by the two ladies of the Concierge. Very patient and helpful and kind.
We had a room with a door to another room, that was really noisy. THis is the only bad thing.
Not enough in house dining options
Great location and facilities. Easy to find and get into. ARC restaurant very good.
We were "upgraded" to a "terrace room" which was supposed to have the King bed we had reserved. Smallest King Bed ever! It had to be a double! Make sure of any upgrade offered!
The view from our room was amazing loved the location it was walking distance to everything. The pool was great and the staff were exceptional!
A little pricey
Great location especially if you are boarding cruise ships. Staff was great.Very convenient when our luggage was taken to cruise ship for us.Very clean with nice lounge.
Free Wi-Fi for being club member
Nice staff Great location
Too many kids running around using the gym under age and unsupervised in the hot tub Accident waiting to happen and irritating for adults trying to relax
The only downfall was the amount of children in the pool at times.
We stayed in a deluxe king with harbor view and the room did not dissapoint in any way: 18th floor ( out of 22), spectacular view, large room, great mattress and sheets, great shower head. It was one of the best rooms we've had in Vancouver and we've stayed at many nice hotels there before. The pool on the roof top was heated and clean, and it was a pretty good size to enjoy a swim.
Quite a few kids at the pool in the evening, but then we went there and spent the morning and there were no kids.
Value was poor
The room décor, the front desk staff, the food at ARC, and the wait staff there as well. Staff are professional, friendly, and give great service.
The room was nicely appointed, the beds excellent, and the view off the charts. We are picky and would definitely return, to a harbour view room.
The signature brisket was tough...
Great location. Room decor and size is great.
I ordered a $20 cheese burger by the pool. The bun was burnt! A total rip off. Server was friendly and attentive. Pool is quite small and very crowded on a nice day.
No free breakfast
I find it in poor taste to have to pay for internet connectivity in this day an age
Location, room, facilities
Excellent staff. Directly across the street from the cruise terminal. The hotel transferred our luggage which made embarkation easier.
The Fairmont is full of courteous, helpful, happy employees. ALL the staff are top notch and professional. The Arc dining room is wonderful. The Fairmont location is super.
Right on Canada's place very close to cruise terminal, excellent views, what you would expect from fairmont .
Really excellent facilities
Nothing at all
Location is fab, extremely comfortable and luxurious. We were in the Concierge lounge, a great breakfast and canapés venue. Would go back again and highly recommend
Free wifi. Personal service
Paid for internet
Got upgraded to Fairmont Gold Club - was an amazing, excellent experience. Highly recommended. Perfect for business when one doesn't have the time or energy to deal with hassles e.g. printing, making reservations etc.
Coffee in the gold club level, though machine-made, wasn't brilliant. Not sure whether this is the coffee/machine itself or the baristas, or probably both. Given how critical coffee is to everyone, esp. business travellers, may I suggest either upgrading the machine and/or coffee (Illy) and sending new staff to a barista course. Outstanding coffee is extremely hard to find in North America, so this would guarantee my return on any business trip.
