Very unexpensive, central located, downtown where is naturally noise- I travelled in the off season, so the hotel wasn´t very full: very friendly staff-very helpfull and interested. Rooms clean, I asked for a quiete room- and got one, I haven´t met anyone in the shared bathroom, so I didn´t had to wait at all. Bed very good- Coffee right on the other side of the street, very central, 3 minutes walk to yaletown station which gets you directly to the airport: for me everything was perfect-i would come back

The staff were extremely helpful, and everything was clean and in good order. Not many washrooms, not that I had to wait for one, but at one point three of the four toilets were out of toilet paper.

For a budget hotel it was reasonably clean. There's a night club next door and until about 2am on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights we were there the noise was so boisterous it felt as if the building was shaking. We could not get much sleep, even with earplugs. We asked for a quieter room, but the gentleman at the front desk said that was one of the quieter rooms. Plus, the wi-fi

I found the hotel to be very quaint. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Even though you shared a bathroom they were also kept very clean and tidy and you never had to wait to use the shower. The location is also great as you are close to downtown shopping and restaurants The only thing I didn't like was the noise level from outside. I had a room right on the street and with it being hockey season and playoffs it did get quite noisey. I know that was not something the hotel could control so it's not a complaint against the hotel just a heads up for those visiting during hockey season.

Not much except that it was pretty central. - It was not very clean; the showers were full of mold and it didn't look like the bathroooms/showers were cleaned often enough. - the description and the pictures didn't meet the reality - in the pictures, it looked a lot nicer than it actually was. - it was also on a very noisy street, where people were partying until all hours of the morning.

It has a nice style. High ceilings with crown moldings and comfortable shared spaces with leather furniture. Rooms are small but clean and functional. Bathroom smelled a bit and tp was out 2 of 4 times I used it.

The location was pretty close to my symposium and the price was good. The shower was hot and my room,222 was very quiet. The first floor of the hotel was being renovated which was pretty messy. The shared kitchen was also pretty dirty. I would recommend it to other travellers when the first floor is finished being renovated. I did not find all the hotel staff to take pride in their work.

I liked the young front desk staff from Mexico city , she was so very helpful in everything I asked for assistance with , I also enjoyed the Stacked Burger bar next door , awsome food and service . My room was very simple with a fridge and internet access , good value for my money , yes I would stay here again , reminded me of my Dorm days in Collage .

This shared-bathroom hotel is a fantastic value. It's in a great location right in Yaletown, walking distance to pretty much all of downtown. There is paid parking available off the street. The room and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. It's in an old building, but our floor was freshly painted, and they looked to be in the process of renovating the floor below. Even though the bathrooms are shared facilities, there was always one or more available. Our room was on the second floor, away from the street, facing the back parking lot, but we had a great open view of the surrounding city, and it was surprisingly quiet. There's a fridge in the room, which turned out to be a necessity for us. And there's free wifi in the living area down the hall. This hotel is great for budget-minded singles and couples. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

It was perfect In terms of location and price especially since I was a solo traveller. It was a good deal since I pad half of what other hotels would charge me for, and the location was only walking distance to the town centre, malls, clubs, pubs and granville island. No elevator since it was 'ecological'. But I had huge bags as I was only stopping over in Vancouver before heading off elsewhere so it was tough for me getting my bags around.

The location was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was easy access to the internet and plenty of hot water. This was clearly a budget hotel and I didn't expect much. There was a pane of glass missing from one of the windows and they covered it with plastic; this could have been nasty if it was rainy or cold outside. The bed was more like a cot, including the wheels. If I tried to sit in bed and read the bed rolled away from the headboard.

Great location close to Davie street and Granville streets (lots of restaurants/bars); easy access to public transportation, and they let us check in an hour and a half early with no fee. While the rooms are private, the rest of the experience is hostel. E.g., shared computer area, kitchen, and bathrooms. The location is great as I mentioned, but the street outside is very loud with music and shouting emanating from the bars until 3 am on weekends.

Everything was good. It is placed in the better area to go out during the night with a lot of discos and pubs. Also is 20 min walking for the Canada Place, where most of the sightseeing tour operate. The room is big enough, and it has fridge, safe box and a small sink with a mirror. I think is a very good choice for price and location. The shared bathroom: was very clean, but a bit far from the room.
