location spa facilities staff - tried very hard to have all problems rectified spacious room
fridge wouldn't open properly furnishings were a bit shabby - two tables in our chalet were falling apart, as was a chair the stove didn't work properly and neither did the microwave
how quik and helpful and the kitchen is well stocked withpots and pans
Amazing atmosphere, good price, convenient location. It was our third time staying at Hidden Ridge resort this year. Always a pleasure to come back. See you soon again!
Sauna and swimming pool were open only till 10 pm
This resort has a really good location, you can see wild life just by your room and there are some hiking paths also. The mountain views are beautiful, and the rooms are great in size.
The couch seemed old and was a little dusty, but I guess is hard to keep it clean by the fire place. The balcony was also dirty, full of pistachio shells. WiFi was not so great, kept disconecting because it was busy.
Location, room and pool are great.
We stayed on the main floor could hear noises when people were walking on the second floor. It was very slippery in front of our room. One of the family members had slip and fall.
loved the friendliness of the welcoming front desk staff, in particular, Mercedes and the Aussie girl at the front desk. There's something about white teeth and a big warm smile that makes you feel happy right away. We loved the hot springs pool atmosphere, especially when we were alone. We like the male employee who immediately enforced the "no beer bottles and cigarettes to five arrogant rude men. He was polite but strict and demanded the beer and cigarettes from them. Cheers to that young man on December 09th at 5:00pm. We stayed in room 212 dec 08-10 and loved our little getaway. We'd love to come back this month, if there's any specials on. Thank you hidden Ridge, first class as always!
We'd like the pool open earlier and Close later. We did not like the sauna, run down, creepy and felt like an old used up change room, the door was loose like a barn door, people were using it as a change room and to smoke in, very disappointing. It needs to have a complete redo perhaps with a glass door and windows and secure door, and strict instructions that it is not a change room but a sauna.
Parking. First come first served Didn't like that. We were never able to park near our condo.
Being able to all stay together in comfort.
The snow storm the day before we left!
The location was great, the suite was a perfect setup. Wild life at our balcony.
The small things like nose of kids above at early hours like I was staying in an apartment rather than a hotel. Roads had been cleared so my car bottomed out.
We absolutely loved everything and will return in the summer!
The only complaint would be that the doors and windows were not sealed well at all, constantly letting in cold air and wasting energy.
We chose this resort because of the outdoor hot tub and the view of the mountains.
We tried several times to get in the hot tub and it was always jam packed each time we went.
Pool area was kinda disappointing looked like a YMCA not a spa
This is the third time staying at your resort and we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves each time. The layout of the loft room is excellent. Lots of room and the outdoor bbq is convenient and makes it feel like home. The outdoor hot tub and sauna make for a great wakeup and get ready for the day experience!! Thank you
Generally, a clean, functional and comfortable facility suitable for young families.
Noise can be easily heard within the suites suggesting that the inner walls are very thin or lack insulation.
The staff did a great job of dealing with the issue we had with the door locks - and were constantly apologizing for the inconvenience. They got it resolved, and were great at making sure we were looked after.
The only downside was that, having booked through this site, I was unaware until check-out that I was billed $100 for pets ($25 per pet per day) - which was a shock - way higher than I've ever seen anywhere and completely unreasonable. I have two small dogs, and a total charge of $25-$30 would have been more in line with other places I've stayed, and in line with the market - so don't have pets here!
Underground parking and the overall features in the unit.
The two queen beds were crowded in the bedroom. The narrow curved bottom in the bathtub made it awardward to shower. The refrigerator was missing shelves and rack guards, and the dishwasher showed lots of wear.
Wonderful place for vacation, really nice room and servise. The outdoor hot tube is a great place for relaxing, even in winter!
chosen for it's distance away from the main section of Banff - for the quiet setting & it's remoteness to allow my guests from China to experience a closer view of the more quiet settings of the national parks. Their visit now pending their arrival. I'm ex forestry service - and i slept soundly for 2 solid days and nights
the daily maid service is wonderful, but i needed an undisturbed sleep - and they left me alone when they understood - I slept even better
We liked the clean rooms & well supplied kitchen. The supplied firewood was a bonus. The location of the hot pools overlooking the snowy ridge was beautiful.
Kitchen well equipped . The barbecue outside was excellent and big enough to cook our 22 lb turkey. The hot tubs and sauna very relaxing.
Our rooms were right beside garbage pick up and laundry drop off. All four mornings both of our rooms were woken up early by the noise.
Nice view from the hot tub. Perfect location for dog owners. Everything was perfect!
Peace & quiet as opposed to the town. Free bus passes & complete kitchen accessories. Totally enjoyed our 2nd day soaking in the hot pool. Towels were ready on the side. Coffee at the lobby to keep us warm. It was good!
Our room had limited view of Banff. Seems like our view was the RV parking spot.
Its becoming a yearly thing going to hidden ridge for my Birthday and every year it seems to get better and better! the facilities, the location and the staff are always so helpful and amazing.
+Our 3 bedroom townhouse like unit was much cheaper than 3 separate rooms. +The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped. +A lot of little things were free, coffee, newspapers, firewood, 3 day bus pass, ...
-very minor, it is a good 20 min walk to Banff downtown, but the bus stops right at the entrance!
