I loved Nancy’s bakery, the marina, the Boardwalk, Pollen Sweaters, all within a short walk from each other. The staff were fantastic there. This was our 2nd time to Lund this year. We had lost our cat in July in Teakearne Arm when he jumped ship and swam to shore. Lund was the first place we provisioned at after leaving Maple Bay on our way there. We returned in October to find our cat after a text we received about his whereabouts, so we trailered a smaller power boat up to Lund to seek our kitty. Lund was a great place to launch the boat in the water and to come back to after we successfully found Artemus. We celebrated at the resort pub with the friendly staff afterwards then the Boardwalk Cafe for a delightful dinner and the purchase of a beautiful wood carving from the wall of the restaurant in honour of Artemus’ return to us. Lund has a lot of charm and it will always have a special place in our memories.

A lovely little oasis in an isolated area.

A lovely little oasis in an isolated area. If the weather was dry, it wiuld have been fun to take advantage of the complimentary kayak and SUP. We love Nancys Bakery. The Boardwalk restaurant looks nice.

We did an excursion of Desolation Sound and a day trip to Savary Island, both I would highly recommend. Few, but very nice restaurant options for such a remote location. Loved the Boardwalk restaurant and went to Nancy’s every day (walking distance). The Laughing Oyster was a drive, but worth it.

    we loved Lund!

we loved Lund! it's such a beautiful place and close to some incredible destinations. We hired electric bikes from Terracentric Adventures, and took them over the Savary Island via the Lund Water Taxi. We hired the zodiac to take us to Sarah Point where we hiked 19 kms back to Lund via the Sunshine Coast Trail. Everything we did was incredibly beautiful and so west coast. We would have done the sunset cruise through Terracentric Adventures into Desolation Sound after the SCT but we were exhausted. I'm already planning my next trip back!!

Lund is really only a marine stop, although it does have a lovely hotel, bakery, Pollen Sweater Outlet and a couple of decent restaurants. We enjoyed a beautiful tour of Desolation Sound with Ted (Beyond The Road Tours) on-board his boat. We stayed at the Desolation Resort and dined at the The Laughing Oyster. Beyond The Road Tours, Laughing Oyster and Desolation Sound all highly recommended.
