The two bedroom cottage we had was comfortable, clean, and quiet. We appreciated the WiFi.
Mosquitoes - but there's not too much that can be done except to wear insect repellent.
The cabin was very clean and tidy, beds comfortable, everything worked and the self catering facilities were very good. Excellent value for money and no hesitation in recommending this accomodation.
Hidden little gem outside of Pemberton proper. Quiet, spotlessly clean, nice kitchen facilities, comfortable king size bed. Friendly check-in, great wifi. Would stay again
The smell of the garbage bin was distracting when you enter the property and when outside. Could have used a couple of more pillows in the room.
Excellent friendly staff.
No restaurant in walking distance.
No grocery store or resteraunt close,
Great bed, sat TV, air conditioner worked great even in 37C weather.
People on the noisy metal stairway to the 2nd floor office.
fairly quiet out of the way spot to unwind
wall's abit on the thin side...
It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the owners were very friendly.
The kitchenette had no stove or hot plate. There was only a microwave.
Room was clean, thank goodness
Advertised mountain view balcony... It is a motel, the so called balcony is the access to your room. The owner argued with my husband about our reservation and then charged an extra $20 for the room we initially booked, but 11pm and 2 kids sleeping/ screaming in the car we stayed anyways. Very disappointing.
Very quiet location. Staff was very helpful.
All was good.
It was so clean and comfortable.
A perfect intermediate stop when travelling northbound on HWY 99
- cleanliness - friendly staff - large room with kitchenette
- the bath tub was a bit small and shaped differently
Staff was helpful, looked like a newly renovated room. We enjoyed our stay...
Recently refurbished room
Climbing stairs to first floor
Very clean and well maintained with kitchenette
The proprietors were extremely helpful & very focussed on ensuring customer satisfaction. They went out of their way to accommodate our particular needs. Thank you.
We arrived and there power was out. But they brought us to our room with a big friendly smile and a very large flashlight Very helpful and friendly
No power for an hour lol
the friendly staff and owner and the modernization of the rooms. Also Very clean and tidy.
The approach could be improved just a little.
Friendly staff, Clean rooms, Excellent pricing and easily accessible.
The room had everything in it except a hair-dryer!
Surprising find for an Ok place to stay in the outlying "Whistler" areas for those trying to avoid luxury hotel pricing. The room/Kitchenette has been completely updated with modern full size appliances. It is only a short drive from Pemberton probably about 45 to 50 min from Whistler.
Room was big, with kitchen facilities. We were only there for stopover and it was very Comfortable for this.
No facilities nearby, had to drive to Pemberton for supplies. Wifi was not available for the whole stay
Quiet. The background mountains (same view in Pemberton btw).
Wi-fi doesn't work. TV has mostly news channels - no movies. A lady from the reception office (and sometimes she's the only one available) doesn't understand the English language. Nothing to do or eat in this village so you'd have to drive back to Pemberton for that. Because of that and similar accommodation prices you'd be better if you're going to book a room in Pemberton if available.
Kitchen spotless and very well equipped. Room very clean. Good value for money.
Laundry was not working when we stayed.
Quiet location with spectacular scenery in the area
The only things I would change about The Hitching Post are to add a hot tub and move it 25 Km. closer to Whistler.
