no service room setup for single ocupancy room very small
Ample parking, close to Radium, friendly receptionist.
Not very clean, probably not enough staff for a busy weekend !
Bathroom was small, newer sink did not leave much room for personal items.
Close to all that is downtown Invermere. Staff exceptional and friendly.
Age, small small bathroom, uncomfortable bed!
The location is unbeatable if you want to be in the town of Invermere, and close to the lake.
The rooms are not always user friendly. This stay we had trouble with our key/lock/door staying locked, and the rooms are fairly dark.
The Canterbury inn was very centrally located & it was easy to walk yo the beach or to restaurants. They were very understanding about pets. The unrenovated room was kind of scary but the other Rooms were certainly adaquate & comfortable enough.
I sort of felt that things that weren't as they should be were kind of swept under carpet ie when the maid came to clean we were still in the room. She never came back & as a result we didn't have basics like soap or coffee. When I went to get more it was all because we were there. However, other places I've stayed the maid just did a couple of rooms & came back later...
We very much liked the location, and the staff was friendly and alot of fun and treated you like family. Althougth the rooms need a little tlc they are working on it. Joe and Ellie Montrose
No outlet in the bathroom
It was a great spot as was in the middle of both hot springs and walking distance to all the shops in invermere.
I liked everything that Invermere had to offer
Clean rooms and friendly staff, and a quite location
The room was clean, the bedding was good, the TV selections were good, the parking was good and location was great. The fellow at the desk was very obliging with my request for decaf coffee and a kettle to boil water for my tea.
The queen bed room on the main level had no window except for the small one in the door. When I asked about a senior's discount, the fellow at the desk was reluctant. Out of a charge of $165.60 (the room was $119 and the puppy charge was $25) he gave me a credit of $6.85 with the comment that this would take away the inn's profit because of the booking.com fee. Though the inn accepted pets, there was no grassy area on the lot. There is an area across the street which was fine but someone else's dog raced out to cross the street and was nearly hit . . . scared the driver a lot, too. Not specific to this accommodation, driver's should not need to HONK-lock their vehicles . . . . it's nerve shattering where people and pets are paying to sleep. If a person is smart enough to drive, they should be able to lock their vehicle quietly without imposing on everyone in the vicinity. Can the inn request this?
Comfortable bed and pillows. But that was it!
Size and appearance of room. The room telephone didn't work. Air conditioning unit following apart and needed a good clean and a coat of paint. Bathroom far too small and slates on the floor and wall very badly installed.
Friendly Staff and cozy comforters
Room was a little small
Great staff, comfortable room
Fridge was broken but nothing some snow in a garbage bin can't fix
