Location, friendly staff
slow Wi-Fi, not easy for people with mobility impairments
Fantastic value for the money, very cool and funky rooms with original art, antiques, lovely wood and leaded glass. Very casual and relaxed atmos with lots of laughs. Sushi was very very good!
Loved our room . View was great and comfy king bed. Sushi placed attached was amazing.
Location, restaurant, staff
unique building looking out over the bay ,perfect position for trips(bears, whales, meals) good on site sushi, loved it!
Loved this charming inn and everything about it. We'll definitely choose to stay here again.
Setting is beautiful Room Size and uniqueness In the village, close to everything
Noisy, you can pretty much hear everything going on. Adjoining property is a bit of a construction zone
The quirkiness of the building, the beautiful windows, the amazing view, just everything about the Inn and Tofino!
Off season so it was quite
Friendly staff Clean facilities Waterfront venue & view Interesting architecture
Beds were a little too "hard" No effective pillow headrest for reading Somewhat noisy from adjacent rooms Back yard is a building site; spoils the view.
A great place to stay!
- average to poor customer service - Sushi restaurant is a joke; you get to hardly see or taste the real crab or any other fish so much the rice in the rolls is thick. It's expensive for no good reason
Anna & Ron were just great hosts! Their were great also. Loved the uniqueness of their place. We will stay again if in Tofino. Keep up the good work.
Very funky accommodation. Crazy Ron is a great host and the sushi bar is a great place to hang out, even if just for drinks.
A visit from a plumber and a joiner is required throughout to tighten taps and fixtures! The balconies also needs a good sprucing up.
Gorgeous location, super impressive restaurant, thoughtful staff and a very comfy bed. The vibe is a little bit hostel-ish, Tofino is a laid back community, the hotel has lots of funky furniture and art everywhere, but the rooms are absolutely top quality.
Local sea planes take off from a dock right behind the hotel which is great for photos and scenery, but a little annoying when they take off in the morning (sounds like a lawn mower starting). To be fair, we only heard one before 8 a.m. and just laughed about it!
No breakfast available
Great location, lovely view, helpful staff and relaxed atmosphere
Our room has a partial view of the sea. Stunning environment. Room has very unique decoration and very clean. Staffs are very friendly. Check-out time is 12pm so we have plenty of time to enjoy the room and surrounding area.
Private balcony, cleanliness, wifi was fast, comfortable bed.
Kinda expensive but competitive for Tofino during summer, restaurant was noisy.
Comfy beds big tub downtown location.
Close to everything
Would have liked breakfast!!
This is lovely old brick building, but newer construction. Room 1 was very spacious with a good sized bathroom and storage/closet area - all nicely cleaned. We had lots of big, fluffy towels, a coffee maker and fridge in the room. In the morning, we "foraged" for blackberries from the huge bushes growing wild right outside! This is a perfect location in Tofino - close to all the action and the view from the balcony is outstanding!!! We had our wine out there and sat for hours each evening. The sushi bar owner throws the fish scraps out for birds at the bottom of the hotel and 4 massive bald eagles swooped around when they heard the owners call! Great photo op!
No elevator, so be prepared to drag luggage on stairs.
What this place lacks in amenities it surely makes up for in character and charm. Excellent waterfront patio & sushi bar.
Noisy especially when other guests arrive late and lots of early morning car noise as it is on a busy road.
The backyard and the stairs looked very messy. There was only one chair in our room, but we were 2 persons. We heard a lot of noise from the restauraunt above. The table on the balcony was very rusty.
I would stay here again for the location. The views are amazing!
Their reservation system is a pad of paper with sticky notes strewn about. They messed up our reservation and we had to move to a different room mid-stay. Don't come here expecting the height of professionalism! Come for the views.
