Good city location, friendly helpful staff, clean room and bathrooms, a guest laundry and a nice simple breakfast. Currently has construction underway on both sides of the building.

Friendly staff and good value for money. We didn't know there was a sauna so that was a pleasant surprise. Because I read other reviews I knew the breakfast would be a bit simple, so that was fine by me. But I expect people who haven't done the same might find it a bit disappointing if they imagined a B&B style breakfast. I advise the hotel to take the B&B out of their listing title but still offer the breakfast as an extra.

It is just a great small, comfortable and humble place--have loved staying there over the years. Hasn't changed. Glad it is a historical site and has been saved as the construction on both sides moves ahead.

- Central location; - budget friendly; - quiet during weekend; - cleanliness, and neatness - The site on the web did not mentioned that on two sides of the B&B, were two serious construction sites; - the noise in room, even with closed windows, during the week day, was unbearable.

The central location, friendly and helpful staff, good value for money. Although the room we stayed in was rather small with a shared bathroom this was not a problem. We found that the hotel offered all we needed and that there was an attention to detail. e.g. makeup remover wipes were much appreciated by my wife as was the shoe cleaning sponge. The provision of a hand sanitizing gel in the bathroom was also a nice touch. The breakfast was basic but very nice. The hotel has a lift, laundry facilities,a sauna, a computer for internet access, free wifi and a free ice machine. There is new development going on either side of the hotel but this was not a problem to us as we tend to be early risers. The construction work starts at about 8am and continues until about 5pm.

perfect location in downtown Vancouver hotel has a shared guest fridge The toast with Philadelphia is nice this hotel can never be relaxing because both on the left and right side they are preparing to build two new skyscrapers, and they do this in an extremely noisy way. After this is finished, the hotel will be a pathetic small building between two very high buildings. At this moment, the hotel is terrible between 7.30 and 4.30 pm, including weekends. If you are looking for a hotel to spend some time during the day, stay away from this one. If you will be out all the time during this period, the hotel will be fine. Rooms are small, even for that price.

It was very convenient and a good price. Lots of restaurants nearby and plenty to see. We stayed prior to a cruise and it was easy to get to from the sky train and an okay walk to Canada Place. Construction on both sides did not bother us.

The staff was friendly. The location was perfect. The rooms were small, but comfortable. Although shared, the bathrooms still allowed for a lot of privacy and everything was very clean. For a bed and breakfast, the breakfast was a bit lacking. It consists of a toasted bagel, coffee and orange juice. Also, I didn't like that we had to pay an additional $24 a day to park.

Excellent situated in the centre of Vancouver. The hotel is easy to reach from the Airport by the Canada line (metro), taking 30 minutes. From the hotel the various parts of the city as well as destinations outside Vancouver are easy to travel to by public transport. Breakfast contains of orange juice, toast(ed bagle), coffee and tea.

We just stayed 1 night with my wife. The staff was very friendly. We arrived at midnight and the receptionist was very smiley, offered us some complimentary juice and coffee. It is very cossy place and excellent location. The bathrooms are shared.

This place was one of the better hotels we stayed at during our trip. Centrally located in downtown Vancouver. Walking distance to everywhere we wanted to be as well as public transportation. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, we didn't even mind the construction that was going on on both sides of the hotel, not bothered by it all. The hotel was completely booked and we didn't have reservation for our fist night and the night clerk helped us find another great place to stay for the night. Never had to wait for a shower/bathroom. Some people may not like sharing bathrooms/showers but we love sharing which helps save water and keeps cost down. will stay here again if we come back to Vancouver.

We stayed at Kingston for 21 days during our trip to Vancouver Canada and our stay was great. The staff was ever so nice and friendy, helpful and welcoming. the room was cleaned every morning and even though the rooms were small they were cozy and just what we needed at the end of a long day of travel. For the price, this boutique hotel is very much recommended. breakfast has only toast or bagels with butter or cream cheese but they have fresh orange juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate which is just fine to begin the morning with. The shared bathroom is something you need to get used to but 90% of the times they were sparkling clean so it was fine.
