We like that it is part of the market place so you can have a great time even if you don't want to leave the facility
The front desk staff has consistently been poor. Whether it be directions to the hotel, where to park or speaking clearly. Mumbling, one's English was poor.
Christmes party until 1.30 morning ,loud music, after that 2 oclock some idiot was doing renovation used hummer etc.
The staff in general was accommodating and the maid service was very good. And I really liked the market on the main floor.
The one thing that I really didn't care for was when I asked at the desk to have them call a cab for me and was told I could probably find one down the street (in the dark) and when I refused to do that they did call one for me.
Paying for parking
No smoking rooms
A nice alternative to downtown
I had a minor computer problem and the young staff person came right to our room and corrected the problem This whole process was handled with in a matter of minutes. We also like the in room amenities of fridge, microwave, bottled water for coffee and personnel water bottles and proximity to sea bus.
tHE VIEW THE BALCONY; THE STAFF WERE GREAT. EASE OF ACCESS FROM THE SEABUS. WONDERFUL MARKET JUST AN ELEVATOR RIDE AWAY. IT MADE A SISTERLY REUNION A WONDERFUL TIME. THEY EVEN LOANED US THIER DESK CORKSCREW!
The location was excellent, the room was nicely appointed, and the bed was comfortable.
At around 6:00 am there seemed to be mechanical problems which created a loud vibration above our heads which made sleeping impossible. I complained at the front desk when checking out and they told me that they were in the process of renovating an old hotel. While I don't have a problem with renovation at regular hours it was very annoying at 6:00 am especially on a Sat. The hotel did refund me 10% - however I would have appreciated the sleep more.
loved hanging out the window overlooking the water and the dock.
The hotel charged a "Facilities Fee" of $6.72 but could not explain what this was.
location is nice .view towards water.
7am a noicy fan on roof rattling all day .no bathroom fan .
Not dog friendly,
Great location, comfortable beds and nice views.
No room service past 9pm Didn't have enough corkscrews Housekeeping banging on door even after late check out was requested and confirmed
excellent location, superb links to seabus and North Vancouver bus station
The location was central to public transit
They increased the price when checking in. Service was bismol or non-existence. Little roach creatures in the bathroom. Staff were unfriendly. No extra pillows. And excessive noise from the rooftop at early hours in the morning e.g. 6 am.
Great location at Lonsdale Quay by Seabus terminal - quick access to downtown Vancouver without the downtown prices.
Let me start by saying I was very impressed by the staff. I have to apologize for not remembering their names. I was glad I stayed there than the pinnacle which I had almost chosen. I have stayed at the Pinnacle before. For the money I must admit I prefer your room over them. I will return because of it and the staff. Thank you. Sincerely Mark
I was there for 1 night and needed a quiet place to stay and close to where I needed to be the next day. For that it worked out well. The room was clean and the bathroom was quite large. The front desk employees both when I checked in and out were pleasant, professional and helpful.
The heating system in the room was difficult and it looked outdated. It seems it could only work with the fan being on and I have issue with sleeping with the fan as the room gets too dry and I wake up coughing. I think their heating system should be updated and newer. Other then that, the room was average. A bit too expensive I think for the quality of what you get. Either they lower the price a bit or step up with higher quality room decor and heating/cooling system especially.
The decor of the room was simple but modern. The size of the room and the set out of the furniture was pleasing. Enjoyed our view of the water.
The coffee maker was defective. We didn't manage to make a hot drink.
The location is good for our business purposes. And the market downstairs is convenient.
the hotel asks for a huge damage deposit on your credit card - makes you think they routinely get 'thugs' at their hotel who damage the place
Location and quiet. Large rooms, comfy beds.
Most rooms are tired and less than perfectly clean and functional. Others are redone and very nice. You may find a bottled water tower in your premium room but odds are it will have no water. You may find broken shower curtain rings and curtain rods and shower curtains that should have been replaced a year ago. You may also find the worst toilet paper in Vancouver.
Location, size of rooms, staff good.
Walls paper thin, noisy at night. Room had a funny odour. Both husband and I congested all night. Fine when we left,no more congestion. Stepped on a sharp tiny piece of plastic on floor in room
someone scraped my car in underground parking lot . not happy about that
Shopping, Farmer's Market, good restaurants right in the Market and very nearby, and the ferry into the city is right there so you don't have to take a car. N Vancouver is a little more peaceful than the city. The balconies look right over the shipyards and the doors open to the fresh air.
You do have to have a car to get over there. The hotel rooms are a bit old but clean.
