je n ai pas aime le petit dejeuner car c est compris dans la chambre mais en final il faut payer le cafe c est lamentable car le cafe americain est partout free et de plus il est tellement leger que de ne pas le faire payer ne ruinera pas l hotel/ de plus le personnel du restau est detestable/ j ai paye 112 dollars c est pas cadeau

Les boissons payantes au petit déjeuner, pour un hôtel comme ça... et le personnel servant le petit déjeuner pas du tout aimable... Vraiment pas... Au final la nuit est chère pour ce qu'il est...

I liked the fact that we wre within walking distance of the MTS

I did not feel safe to walk alone. I went with my brother and we got followed to our hotel from the car. We were pestered to buy drinks at the Regal Beagle. Downtown Winnipeg is not a nice or safe place. I loved the old in the hotel but will not recommend it to anyone nor will I stay there again. I would sooner pay for taxi fair and feel safe in my enviroment.

This was our first stay in your hotel - but this will also be the hotel I will come back to next trip. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, I was most impressed with the friendly and helpful staff. We were made to feel like we had truly come to the right place! The room was clean and pleasant; the location for our purposes was excellent. The breakfast was a nice bonus as well. Even other guests were friendly... All in all - the stay was very pleasant, the price was very affordable - and I will most certainly happily recommend this hotel to others and will most certainly stay there next trip to Winnipeg. I'm so happy we chose the Marlborough for our trip to your wonderful city.

The weather was crummy - which of course couldn't be helped by anyone! There was nothing I "didn't like" about this stay.

Beautiful old hotel with lot's of wonderful history.

Interesting clientele in the lobby and it was very difficult to find ice on any of the floors.

The lady who checked me in was awesome

My 14 year old daughter did not feel comfortable in the hotel. And at 6:45am there was a intoxicated guy yelling outside our room this continued on and off for over an hour and when I called front desk the woman who answered was very ignorant and made me feel like I was not a valued customer as a result of this inconvenience we slept until checkout and did not use our free breakfast next time I will pay the extra $50 to stay at a better hotel. I will never go to this hotel again

I liked the location it was in very convenient and staff was very helpful and nice:) always smiling and remembered us:) felt special thank u we will stay again

The location is very convenient.

Wifi is too bad. Breakfast is just so so.

The Hotel was probably beautiful in its day, with its ornate details, but it needs some repairs. The hotel is very large and the pool is nice.

The downtown location is very scary. There is no parking. There is a parkade across the street but its not secure, as well as an open parking area on the next street.

It is an older place very nice to walk in the front door staff was greeting location was in a good place I was with both of my older children we went to a concert food in restaurant was good we got complimentary breakfast what's was not on my booking that was nice but coffee tea or juice was not included

First night there had a terrible sleep the bed was hard talk to the front counter staff in the morning I was told they would change my room for a better bed had to go back to the front 3 times then I finally spoke to the manager and he upgraded me to a better room if you have a problem go straight to the manager the 1 waitress we had was a real snot he didn't smile I really do not think he should be working there in my opinion she is racist

i found the staff helpful and informative The restaurant served gourmet-like meal in an exquisite dining room. The room was clean & comfortable The hotel is convenient to Centennial Concert Hall and Manitoba Theatre Centre

Owners have let a once beautiful hotel become old, worn, and seedy. It needs a major expensive face-lift to appeal to most modern traveler.

The attitude of the staff was exceptionally outstanding. I have not seen such a cooperative and helpful staff at many places. Secondly, the location was ideal for business travellers. The hotel's building, room size, furniture and ambience was really grand.

Most unfortunate part of the stay was seeing such a nice hotel in shambles because of poor maintenance.

Comfortable bed...

When checking in was told they were bumping us up to a suite at no extra charge, was pretty excited...until we got in the room. Would hate to see what a basic room was like. We found receipts from the previous people and random stuff on the floor. Staff was very friendly, however our room was not kept up with. Will not be staying at this hotel again.

It is hard to find anything positive other than the manager did not charge us for the night we stayed because he agreed the water in the hotel was unhealthy and he is hoping we dont report the hotel to the Canadian Health Authority

The water in the cold and hot pipes is yellow a complete hazard to human health. It is poisonous. Both my wife and I fell ill and are very shocked still with what we saw. We have taken pictures and video of this water and it runs vivid yellow like for example strong yellow pee colour. The hotel needs to be closed down ASAP before more people get ill. Its a disaster waiting to happen.

The location and the cheap price compare to others downtown hotels.

Except the new employee, all other older staff was not very friendly. The service was cold and expeditive. We had the breakfast included but had to pay the coffee The first night, the internet was not working The second night (one week after), the heat was not working in the room

I always enjoy my stay at the Marlborough Hotel. The breakfast is the breaker......the best meal and coffee is excellent.

Only problem was one of the weekend waiters we had to wait so long for our food....and coffee.

Nice old building, kept a lot of the old architecture and furnishings

The wireless internet never worked. We asked at the desk twice and called to the desk once, and each time were told, "I will reset the router and then try again.' The PPV movie and game channel never loaded The whole hotel could use some sprucing up here and there (paint, carpet, etc).

The price and the location are the best assets to this hotel. Located downtown next to MTS Center and not to far from the airport.

As I can see on the hotel's website, it opened its doors in 1914 and sure looks like it. Must have been a really nice hotel back in the day but it's really dated now. Hall was noisy, garbage truck came 3 times during the night to empty bins with empty bottles (woke me up every time). Also, free breakfast is included but you'll have to fork 15$/night for parking. Take that into consideration while comparing prices with different hotels.

I loved the architecture of the outside, dining area. the complimentary breakfast was good too.

I should be treated like a valued customer. I rented three rooms over 4 days. There were bed bugs in my daughter's room 229. I did not like the management of the bed bug issue. I was still charged one night for that infested room. I should of not been charged at all. The inconvenience of exterminating from clothes and reassuring bed bugs were being transferred to my home and daughter's home are overwhelming. The medical care of the bites on three people who stayed in the room is also overwhelming. The manager did not put into consideration the factors affected by the bed bugs in the hotel. The creepy psychological effect, emotional stress effect along with the stated physical effects need to be put into perspective and followed through with due process of compensation. If I do not hear from this establishment regarding my concerns; I will be forced to refer this to my lawyer.
