We got a room for under $100 on New Years and it was freshly remodeled. All amenities worked well. Also, we thought we booked a mid-level room and when we arrived their records were showing we had booked a small room, but after a very short discussion they honored our original purchase with a smile.
The main door to the room rattled during the night when other people would go in and out of their rooms, but we realize that it was New Years and that is probably not as common as it was that particular night.
Attached sports bar and lobby sitting area.
No type of comp breakfast.
Room was nice, clean, good facilities
The manager asked how our night was, when we told him it wasn't great he simply ignored us. The sound transmits through the walls so much that you can hear full conversations. We got very little sleep. We won't go back.
Clean, reasonably comfortable room Good location for downtown Nelson
No coffee/tea facilities in room Glass bathroom door a bit off-putting
I love the new renovations to the hotel. It is such a great location and now it has a great modern look. I like the common area and the upgrades to the deck! It adds a lot of flair!
I have always found the hotel a little noisy.
I loved the location , very central to everything. I loved the style and decor -- very New York.
fabulous bed very clean great location
Location, Clenliness, Value
Seamless blend of old and new makes for a comfortable, fun, bright atmosphere.
Newly renovated, clean, super friendly staff.
the carpet pattern in the hallway....
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have a dog and travel with her a lot. The Adventure staff were very accommodating and supportive. We also enjoyed the centrality of the hotel. It was great!
Cleanliness was a must and we did get that. The newly decorated rooms look very European. Ikea furniture all the way. Not that comfortable but o.k.
On the website, it said there was lots of parking, NOT.. We have two motorcycles and we could'nt even find a spot till later in the day. Then found out the next day that one of the guests almost backed into one of our bikes. Thanks to a good semaritan, the car was stopped in time. So, guest parking sucks. Way to small.
Excellent vibe and feel, the lounge on the 1st floor was a nice touch and well done
Carpet in hallways was a little disorienting.
Friendly, courteous staff...clean room....comfortable bed....no complaints
loved the clean simple furnishings "european style'
close to everything, fun atmosphere
It was exactly what we wanted. Great staff, great location, clean and wonderful atmosphere.
Having to climb the stairs with my bags. No problem though...
pleasant staff. clean rooms.
Having to reach around the shower glass to adjust water temp etc prior to taking a shower. Parking not enough of.
I loved my room. They have done a great job with their renos. My bed was very comfortable. Room was small, but really didn't need anything grand. Close to everything.
The a/c was very loud. They did not have water in their pop machine. That's a no no in my book. Had to go to liquor store to buy H20 which was kinda funny.
It was under renovation ...but ourroom was one of the newly renovated and was good
the room had no coffee or fridge there was no elevator and there was a a lot of stairs to the 2nd flood as the first floor very noisey the carpet will make you sick if you look at it long enough it looks like the floor is wavey
Great location close to downtown. Good bar and food.
Very little off-road parking. This is an issue for bikers who like some additional security for overnight parking, particularly when staying at a downtown hotel in a sizeable city. This was a disappointment for a hotel that advertises itself as being biker friendly.
We did not get a room that we booked online.
100 preauthorization on credit card for possible damage. rooms were small and old but not charmning
Robin at the front desk was so friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and very cozy
The service in the pub was very poor
Overall I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff especially how much they welcomed my dog!
There wasn't any coffee left at 9am!
