Old Mill Toronto  

Everything is just excellent and above the expectations. One small thing that migh be noticed. I stayed at room 402 room which is actually above the bar. Albeit it was the 4 th floor, the music from the bar is heard in the bedroom. The music is nice, but I suppose it shouldn't be heard in the room. Anyway, it's the guest's choice to listen it or not. To other visitors- be aware of the weekends parties at the hotel. It a little be croud there and the parking lot is really full- the problem to find the place. Otherwice, the hotel is really superb. The atmosphere when we walked into our room. Fireplace on and easy listening music to welcome us.

The stay was fine and convenient.

The fact that the sofa bed in the room was pulled out and made into a bed when I returned to my room when I was a solo traveler. Very odd.

We are three guys from China to do business here. Our business partners are located in Etobicoke and Downtown. So my relative here helped us book Old Mill. It's really convenient for us to stay in the middle of these two destinations and so close to the subway station. We travelled the world and stayed in almost all major chain hotels so far, and Old Mill is really unique and has its special charm. We are happy we found it.

Great service, nice people, excellent food.

The only complaint was that they haven't installed low-flow toilets....

Lovely comfortable room made us very happy and the turn-down service at night was a wonderful treat. The provided bathrobes were great too! We were there for a wedding & it was so beautiful - the food was fantastic and the grounds are like an oasis! You feel like you've stepped back in time at the Old Mill. It was a great experience.

No microwave in the room.

From the minute we arrived late on Sunday night the staff couldn't have been more obliging and helpful. The Old Mill was everything we expected it to be and more. It's proximity to a subway station made travelling around the city very easy. Would definitely recommend the Old Mill.

Ice machine across the hall woke us up at 5:30 am. It was VERY noisy.

I had to cancel my third night and the hotel and/or booking.com refused to provide any relief so I had to pay full value for the third night. As I may be in the area on business again I thought they would have provided some financial relief.

I have travelled all over Europe and the U.S. on bussiness and never stayed at a nicer friendlier place. Thank You John Van Dyk, Chatham, Ont

great location, comfortable bed

attempted to charge my amex card $1600 was notified by amex the front desk manager was to correct it the first day and notify me never did the next day went down showed her the charge on my amex that was denied she continued to say it was not the hotels fault it was the card. Very ornery and not so bright and rude.

Lovely romantic setting! We're planning to come back every year for Valentines' Day.

The location on the river provided an excellent place for long walks. Very convenient for the subway into downtown Toronto.

Compared to another hotel in central Toronto where we stayed the previous week, the rather sparse continental breakfast was disappointing.

Late check in, forced to upgrade to check in early. Very Cheesey.

I liked everything really: - the small intimate nature - the friendly and helpful reception staff - the quality of the rooms - beautiful, clean, functional, special - the castle-like mysterious atmosphere thanks to the old-style architecture - great for families with children - the superb gourmet experience of the meals at the hotel - both breakfast and dinner - the parks surrounding the hotel - great for morning or afternoon walks and fresh air

The location and facility was perfect for our family reunion. We loved every minute of our time there and will definitely go back. The jazz bar was a great kick off for our visit, and we sat 19 family at the buffet supper on Sunday and the staff took such good care of us . . . babies, kids and all! Thank you to all the staff who made it such a great time.

A comfortable, well-run, and friendly hotel, with polite and halpful staff. Easy access by subway to the City and close to the many interesting shops in Bloor Street Villagw.

A better selection of ocvcasional meals for the smaller appetite.

The hotel is in a lovely setting in a smart suburb of Toronto. A metro station is situated within 5 minutes walk making travel in the area easy. The bedrooms are excellent with spacious bathrooms. There is a delightful bar with live jazz 3 days per week. This bar was well served by excellent staff especially compared with the rest of the hotel.

This could be a very good hotel , however on our visit the staff's attention to detail was poor. We had a lot of luggage & were only helped when we were seen struggling past reception with a porter's trolley. The sheets were slightly too small for the bed and as such came untucked each night making the bed uncomfortable. A previous guests chocolate wrapper was still on the floor in a corner of the room during the third day of our visit. The turn down service was spasmodic. A continental breakfast was complimentary but hot options were extra. This hotel specialises in weddings and conferences. One left feeling that the individual traveller's needs were less important.

Everything was perfect we really enjoyed the place It is crowded at week-ends with lots of weddings going around but it does not cause problems to hotel customers

My husband flew us to Niagra Falls for dinner as an aniversary present. We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful hotel and a delicious dinner listening to a jazz trio!

We were going to dine in the big dining room but the music was so loud we couldnt even talk so we went and ate in the bar......only one thing I think that could possibly improve your wonderful establishment is an area geared toward more intimate diners .

The room was very comfortable and the food was delicious.

It was spread out too much. Too many long narrow halls.

Elegant clean quiet although many functions going On at same time. Staff attentive to needs . Very good stay
