Location Kitchen well stocked Good shower Quiet Nice walking
Beds..uncomfortable made worse by no fitted sheets Tv channels very minimal
the location: very isolated and quiet, at least in October as there was hardly any other guests. Landscape respected the natural environment: it was very nicely done and tasteful. The apartment was comfortable. Lots of windows and doors going to patios. Well furnished. Lots of closets space. Two washrooms was very nice to have. Kitchen quite complete (but not completely) with nice and clean dishes, pots and pans, and a lot of them. We enjoyed the hot tub.
Too many things were wrong: Total absence of staff for the whole weekend and nobody to give any kind of help or information, despite the 'We will be waiting for you to welcome you" note. There was not a soul! Wrong code for the gate; we could not come in till another guest arrived and gave us his code. This mistake was unacceptable. From the parking lot, everything was pitch dark. It was impossible to find our way around as we could not see. In the darkness, we were expected to find the townhouse down a short but sloping gravel trail, and down two flights of 3 and 4 stairs. As the house had all the lights on, we first assumed there was someone living there. The addresses were almost impossible to read; they were small and in complete darkness. On top of this, we had to 'roll 'our luggage in deep loose gravel, in the dark and down all the stairs. Contrarily to what was promised, there was not Wi-Fi. We phoned the '24 hour service' number twice with no response. It turned out to be a 24 hour message service! Our call was returned only the following morning, ignoring half of the questions we had asked. Someone was sent to fix the Wi-Fi problem. The router has been stolen and the network identified in the Guests Book was wrong. This person was very nice, but it took a very long time before he managed to fix the problem, which was completed after we finally left for the day. Consequently, we were unable to use the Internet when we needed it. The door of the fridge was stuck in frosted ice. We are afraid to brake it in opening it. That was fixed the following day after we had left for the day. So, for most of the time we stayed there, the water of the fridge was warm, and there was no ice. In this 'full' kitchen, there was just a few condiments, but no oil or vinegar at all. Of course, we could have bought some, but the question is where: there was no convenience store or any kind of facilities around.
everythhing.Very nice quiet place
The setting of the resort is amazing peaceful and self contained. Really could not ask for a more beautiful place to stay. We will absolutely return and recommend to friends too!
Facilities (Tennis court / Swimming pool / Hot Tub / Suite).
During weekend there was no direct contact person available. But all run very well via E-mail.
The location and the quietness of the resort and privacy.
The tennis courts were always booked by one family for 3 hours morning and they ran tennis lessons for their kids. No one else could get on the courts from 8-11. That was very frustrating. And shouldn't be allowed, I don't care who the people are.
Forest side is so quiet Lake and swimming-pool Water sport Okanagan weather
The resort itself was nice, if only it had been maintained properly.
We arrived to find the front entrance and decks covered with poo. There wasn't a single extra roll of toilet paper for a 3 night stay with 5 people. The BBQ hadn't been cleaned and was growing mold in it. The remote controls batteries were all dead, as well as the smoke alarm that would consistently beep. They were not very helpful to try and resolve our issues...
We were so impressed with our accommodation that at checkout we decided to book our stay for next year. We all loved the layout of the property, cleanliness and our rental unit itself. We came with my husband's soccer team so have spread the word about The Outback to the other team members for next year.
Nothing other than we felt we should be staying in a bigger unit and have reserved a 3 bedroom for next year.
The views, immaculate-yet rugged property, top-end finishes on the units. Our 3 bedroom was absolutely massive and was a walk-in right from the parking lot. The hot tubs on the water, firepit ( selve serve) on a private beach: our boys just loved the adventure of the place. Very quiet and serene, though. A gem.
Hard to find out where things are: where the open hot tubs are, where ammenities are, as it's a very large property. Having a map in the condo, as well as instructions before arrival and instructions for checkout/ expectations would have been helpful.
clean , well equipped
only several unit is for rent which they are far from beach and in ground level. Also they have no view. most of unit is for resident.
