Small but comfortable rooms and washrooms, v small, Small and somewhat drab elevator (they are probably stuck with it - v expensive to change). Exterior - none of them easily remedied by the hotel: derelicts, limited services on a holiday, somewhat drab downtown - but they are trying and it has improved somewhat. Wind and dust ... but what can you say ... that's, Kamloops.

Very nice, Clean, though an older property very nicely updated. Great bed and bedding. Flat screen TV. Free buffet breakfast.

There are better options for lunch and dinner than the hotel.

This is our third time at The Plaza Hotel. We have nothing but compliments: the staff is friendly but not overbearing; the cleaning people are wonderfully cooperative and patient and the complementary breakfast is generous and served by gracious servers. A great experience

I love this place! Looks great and is right downtown where you want to be. They also have the best free breakfast I've had at a hotel plus free drop in to the YMCA with your stay.

Had to pay an extra $10 for parking.

Great location downtown, with many restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and retail shops in the area. Good service, with friendly staff and nice rooms. Good value for the price. Access to ymca included as well as a good hot breakfast. Free international calling and wifi from every room.

$5.00 extra for a parking spot.

When the boiler came on at 5 AM there were air locks in the system that hammered away like someone pounding on the pipes in the room with a big ballpeen hammer.

Room was good. Linens good, good lighting, window opened. Best of all the staff in the bar/restaurant was excellent as well as the food. Best Ceasar salad in years...made at your table!!!

A few options on the menu of smaller items would be good as you don't always want a full on meal.

From the moment we walking into this chic hotel we were meet with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. The staff were both friendly and knowledgable, informing us about the history of the hotel along with its amenities. The room was clean, well thought out and current. This is definitely a place I will return to!

this is a really beautifully restored older hotel in the middle of a small city. the staff asre really helpful and informative. the decor is lovely, and they include so many amenities. before you arrive they turn on the lights and have the local tv chanel with soft music on as well. they include a full menu sitdown served breakfast as well, and believe it or not, you can phone anywhere in the world for free!!! i loved it!!

this was our second time staying at the hotel and they did not tell us that discount for AMA members. We are disappointed.

All three of us liked the retro style. It's done well and the Hotel is clean and inviting.

We had appetizers in the bar. Ordered 3 different choices to share and didn't really care for any one of them. Basic food would have been more appealing than over aged cheese and spicy cold cuts. It just wasn't enjoyable to eat.

Breakfast is great and the location of the hotel is so convenient for shopping.

Car park is an open-area without cover. I have to shovel snow, clean my windshield & side windows everyday before I started my car.

Staff was amazing. Very friendly. The place was very clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed some local discounts with our stay.

It is located in the nightclub district, so on Saturday night, it was a little bit noisy outside at times.

Very nice, comfortable, classic style of hotel in the centre of Kamloops. Rates are quite reasonable.

Streetside room (3rd floor) was a bit noisy at night.
