Close to the airport and close to the place I needed to go to.
My TV did not work
cheap good location for my purposes
old fashioned key locks musty dirty worn carpets etc noisy
Room was nothing like shown in pictures. Heater did not work properly room was cold all night. Bed was not comfy at all. Odd smell in hallways and rooms like urine.
New and nice sheets and furniture. Pretty clean not dirty like I read in some reviews.
Sink drain in bathroom was broken. The carpets and kitchen could look better.
Noise from airconditioner
What I do like is that I stayed there on a discount, and that I never need to stay again !
Everything was wrong.
Only thing good was the bed the microwave and the fridge
They where not friendly, they hide the truth about the true cost of the room they wanted to charge us additional $7 per night plus tax for the last three nights. The place smelled, the breakfast was a joke, the Internet was the worst I've ever used- super slow and freezes. Elevator at other end of building, no key access to other doors to get closer to your vehicle or room. Made me sign not responsible of possible theft in room.
night staff was very friendly fresh muffins for breakfast (costco) cheap and got what you paid for
the 3rd level is not heated, it was a colder night, the one extra blanket in the room had a giant pee stain on it... so after that I can't guarantee how clean the place was
Nothing n the room was super cold , light was not working. Fan was too loud
The front desk employee whom I think is the son of the owner was very rude, bad customer service. When I arrived I almost felt because of their old carpet front door and he didn't seem the be bothered by that. Had to change the hotel and finally sleep at Clarion Hotel, wayyyy better
We could smell the food from the restaurant on the ground floor up to the third floor. They lost our booking
Room was very cold and the heater did not work well
The assistance that I received from staff in locating the hotel.
No coffee maker or supplies :(
1. The whole hotel smelt of something foul... it was horrible on the nose. 2. The staff were ridiculous unhelpful. Don't expect any help in getting anything done, in particular laundry. 3. The rooms were so cold, and even leaving the heater on all day didn't help. 4. We left the 'DO NOT DISTURB' note on the door, went out for the day and came back and saw someone had been in our room. We were told excuses by the hotel management. Basically that people smoke in the rooms, and that they go in after a few days if you leave that on too long. Our come back, it was our first morning. 5. Was never told of the free breakfast. Saying this, if the smell of the lobby and halls was anything to go by, we probably dodged a bullet.
Location was great
Did not honour the rate that was booked with.
The price was excellent, and the room and bed comfortable and quiet.
There are rules posted on every door and wall, stating, "Do not open this door, use only the front entrance," and for a long shaped hotel, it meant walking extra miles, and then being surveilled by the front desk clerk and security person. "No smoking" was posted every few feet, and in the morning I had the "Do Not Disturb" sign up, and the cleaning staff, pounded on the door, tried to get in, yelling at me through the closed door, and then she said, "You had better not be smoking in there." It was very unacceptable, and if I were her manager, she would have been fired on the spot. I went to use the laundry room, which requires a key from the front desk clerk, and was told, "Someone is already using it, sorry." Only one person at a time is allowed to use the room. And I didnt see any staff smile or be warm during my stay. The breakfast was minimal, and when I came there was no milk left for the cereal, and the coffee tasted like it had been made from an already used filter, it was so weak and tasteless.
Free breakfast snacks
Paper thin walls! Can hear everything
The moldy bagel I ate. The horrible room I got at first- dirty-
Rooms where clean and well kept. Comfortable surprisingly with the way the halls and outside looked
The outside of the building looks like a run down motel. Hard to approach with a good feeling
Clean comfortable room
No tea/coffee in room
Well, despite what it may look like on google maps, it is not actually anywhere near the airport ($35 cab ride). The pictures are also pretty misleading, the hotel is trashy looking. It has a yellow sign that makes it look like it's a gas station and the inside is dated and smells dated too. It wasn't terrible for a quick one night stay but definitely nothing special and wouldn't go there again.
Service from staff Elevator didn't work
The room across the hall was occupied by a woman who had a "visitor" knocking on the door every 20 - 30 minutes...all night The toilet wasn't clean At check out the clerk didn't want/ask for my opinion Even the low rate for the season wouldn't encourage me to stay there again
