Score from 335 reviews Good
Nice bedding and shower. Near all downtown meal areas.
Tad noises because of traffic.
Front clerk was friendly & helpful.
1st impression of room not good - lg stain on carpet. The lighting was hard to figure out - 1switch done nothing. Warm beer in restaurant. Hair on my food.
This hotel was dirty, shabby and not somewhere I wanted to stay. The carpets were filthy, I have seen cleaner at my local refuse dump.
I loved the king sized rooms that came with the king sized bed in the Deluxe king rooms.
I didn't like not having a microwave in the room. I didn't like no complimentary breakfast. I sure didn't like the $5.00 (per night) charge for parking in their parking lot.
Coming into the room was not to impressed with big stain on the carpet... Rest of the room was clean
The location was ideal. The staff was very kind and attentive. The food was really good as well.
Our room was not clean. There is a 2'x3' dark oil stain in the middle of the carpet, mirrors, switches and walls appeared filthy.
I had never been to kelowna so when I had arrived I was veery excited the views were absolutely amazing and staying right in the beach was awesome.... Especially at such a readinsblr price I will be staying there everyone I'm in kelowna
I like everything basically the pool and gym could use an upgrade
We could walk to everything, beach, bars, and to The Yellow House, an awesome restaurant !!!
Very busy corner, couldn't have the windows open
For staying a few days in Vancouver, this is a perfect spot. Most of the city (downtown, Yaletown, Gastown, Westend) is within walking distance.
WiFi on the terras was poor. Neighbours smashing doors and talking loud
Location is great, staff was friendly (if you want extra towels you will have to get them yourselves), WiFi is a nice bonus and the room was clean.
The bathroom shower was dirty (hair was everywhere) and when we asked for extra towels they never came.
Excellent & friendly staff. Good hotel rate. Beautiful decor & comfotable beds. Nice location---close to parks, shopping, restaurants & night-life. We were even granted a later check-out time for free.
Our shower was broken, so my friend was forced to take a bath instead. The vending machine also stole our money when we tried to buy a soda. Everything else was great.
THE WALLS ARE THIN,, THE NEXT DOOR NOISE TRAVELS EASY..
Very old and tired establishment. Key cards have to be swiped multiple times. Very noisy. Enclosed balcony due to location on busy highway. Very hot and humid inside especially the elevators. Very noisy guests tolerated. Ingress / egress is very difficult, again due to the very busy highway being so close. City Park and beach accross busy street. Many homeless and pot smokers / dealers there also. You can do much better - keep looking!
location. Close to everything marina..beachs..restaurants.
Traffic very loud Colour inside the hotel.. feel like in the 70' Carpet in the room really dirty.
Front desk staff, location
Not clean, dark, prison-like, creepy, carpets stained, windows and "windowed balcony" filthy - doubt they have ever been cleaned. Noisy at night - bleak and depressing - will not return and definitely do not recommend.
Very dirty carpets
We got to the hotel at 11 pm after 9 hour drive with two kids, there was no one at the front desk we had to call the hotel to get helped, we get to our bedroom and it's boiling hot, the AC doesn't work and there is only a fan, NB: it was the middle of August and we were in the last floor. We paid 230$ for a room to suffer from the heat and no discount was offered, the best they could do is to slip the family at 1am so two of us can have a cool room. During check out we could not meet the manager, all we got was a business card and 50$ back that we had to bargain for. With good business we don't have to ask for discounts, they usually surprise u about how much they can do for u to feel valued and respected. And $50 really?!!!!!
The balcony... There was a smell until we realized you can open the window.. Then it went away.. But with it being completely closed off it doesn't even make sense to have a balcony you can't really sit out there and enjoy the weather
Close proximity to beach
Old hotel. Next door to hostel. Not a good value for the price.
Being close to the beach was nice.
The room was not clean , the floors were dirty with spills and dust . There was garbage on the private (dirty) deck. I asked to have all this cleaned , vac and wet mopped and the garbage removed ; this was not done ! There was no hand soap. No in room movies and no tv info on how to find cable channels. Inside the drawers were dirty and had bits of ??? in them. I've always stayed at Prestige Inns and this has been the worst experience of " any " hotel I've stayed. The price was totally outrageous for such a shabby room. This was a very special trip I planned for my daughter who was recovering from surgery and I wanted her to experience the Prestige ; we were sadly disappointed. Granted , the price was lowered from $200.00 plus to $169.00... it just didn't cut it. I would appreciate " some " sort of compensation ; I also want you to know , other Prestige Inns have been awesome and I had no problem paying for the luxurious experiences ! The last Prestige I stayed was in Salmon Arm , wonderful experience . Sincerely Lukas Gray
The rooms were filthy The bathroom floor had something dried onto it and was full of hair and dirt There was not enough parking spaces when we came back from the hospital there were no spots left
We stayed at this hotel for a bachlorette party and the location was perfect! The staff was very friendly and accommodating! From the front desk to the housekeeping, everyone was very kind and helpful!! I would stay at this hotel again anytime I wanted to be in the downtown kelowna area.
Location was the only thing.
The first room the carpets were really really dirty so when I mentioned it to the front desk their answer was the inn is 40 years old. That has nothing to do with steam cleaning the carpets. At 200/night it would take 3 nights to even pay for new carpet. The air con worked a little in the first room but the second room it didn't work so well, it took 2.5 hours to get the temp to 77 degrees F.
Walking distance to main street and other venues. Clean comfortable beds
Highway noise, air conditioner
Location close to waterfront.
Very dark. Room had a "balcony" which was closed in with glass. The room was very hot and the cooling poor.
