Comfy bed and it is surprisingly quiet considering we faced Harvey Ave. The double glass doors and enclosed balcony work well.
Our room was on the 3 floor, once you get off the elevator there are some steps with a ramp to pull/push the luggage dolly on. This was somewhat difficult for us seniors.
I did not like the idea when we arrived to find the hotel under complete renovations. Was not told of this. No restaurant no bar. No info in rooms as to restaurant guide or phone book. The only thing good was wifi
The location was prime and I liked the enclosed balcony!
They were under major renovations but I'd like to visit them again when renos are done!
The room was spacious . Close proximity to park and downtown
Hot tub was tepid. Changeroom was dirty. Constuction didn't help atmosphere. Poor layout, very very long hallways ..poor access to parking area.
They did eventually have us move hotels. I asked for them to find us something else, and they did!
We had no idea that the hotel was undergoing renos. We must of arrived at the very start. They were jack hammering up the floor! dust was very visible on all three levels of the hotel. The entrance and exit on the bottom floor was a massive cloud, the workers were wearing masks. Which was a tad interesting that the guests weren't offered any. It was new years eve! My girlfriend and planned to attend a fancy party, good luck on trying to exit the building without completely ruining anything black! Over all they did find us something new! We did not intend of checking into two hotels NYE though which was a huge pain. They also did not offer, I had to ask! And at first they wanted to transfer is to a old run down motel!! So, you could say, it was definatly a poor experience.
Beds were great!
Room was hot upon arrival: save energy -- turn it down! Also, the hotel is under renovations, which is good, but I didn't know that when I reserved. It was REALLY inconvenient to have to go off-site for meals when I'd selected the hotel partly because I knew there was a restaurant.
Great location near the water, running path, downtown shops & restaurants. Good parking. Nice staff.
Hotel was under renovations so didn't get to use the restaurant.
The bed was comfy. The location was good and it was very quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
The carpet in our room was absolutely filthy and revolting. There were rolls of new carpet ready in a parking space but too bad for us it was not yet installed. Also, some disturbances from nearby bar and soup kitchen
The rooms were not updated there was no fridge and the jacuzzi suite we wanted had a small round bed that we could not both fit in. All in all it was a disappointment
Nice bedding and shower. Near all downtown meal areas.
Tad noises because of traffic.
Front clerk was friendly & helpful.
1st impression of room not good - lg stain on carpet. The lighting was hard to figure out - 1switch done nothing. Warm beer in restaurant. Hair on my food.
This hotel was dirty, shabby and not somewhere I wanted to stay. The carpets were filthy, I have seen cleaner at my local refuse dump.
I loved the king sized rooms that came with the king sized bed in the Deluxe king rooms.
I didn't like not having a microwave in the room. I didn't like no complimentary breakfast. I sure didn't like the $5.00 (per night) charge for parking in their parking lot.
Coming into the room was not to impressed with big stain on the carpet... Rest of the room was clean
The location was ideal. The staff was very kind and attentive. The food was really good as well.
Our room was not clean. There is a 2'x3' dark oil stain in the middle of the carpet, mirrors, switches and walls appeared filthy.
I had never been to kelowna so when I had arrived I was veery excited the views were absolutely amazing and staying right in the beach was awesome.... Especially at such a readinsblr price I will be staying there everyone I'm in kelowna
I like everything basically the pool and gym could use an upgrade
We could walk to everything, beach, bars, and to The Yellow House, an awesome restaurant !!!
Very busy corner, couldn't have the windows open
For staying a few days in Vancouver, this is a perfect spot. Most of the city (downtown, Yaletown, Gastown, Westend) is within walking distance.
WiFi on the terras was poor. Neighbours smashing doors and talking loud
Location is great, staff was friendly (if you want extra towels you will have to get them yourselves), WiFi is a nice bonus and the room was clean.
The bathroom shower was dirty (hair was everywhere) and when we asked for extra towels they never came.
Excellent & friendly staff. Good hotel rate. Beautiful decor & comfotable beds. Nice location---close to parks, shopping, restaurants & night-life. We were even granted a later check-out time for free.
Our shower was broken, so my friend was forced to take a bath instead. The vending machine also stole our money when we tried to buy a soda. Everything else was great.
THE WALLS ARE THIN,, THE NEXT DOOR NOISE TRAVELS EASY..
Very old and tired establishment. Key cards have to be swiped multiple times. Very noisy. Enclosed balcony due to location on busy highway. Very hot and humid inside especially the elevators. Very noisy guests tolerated. Ingress / egress is very difficult, again due to the very busy highway being so close. City Park and beach accross busy street. Many homeless and pot smokers / dealers there also. You can do much better - keep looking!
location. Close to everything marina..beachs..restaurants.
Traffic very loud Colour inside the hotel.. feel like in the 70' Carpet in the room really dirty.
Front desk staff, location
Not clean, dark, prison-like, creepy, carpets stained, windows and "windowed balcony" filthy - doubt they have ever been cleaned. Noisy at night - bleak and depressing - will not return and definitely do not recommend.
