We never saw the staff (maybe a maid shortly in the breakfast room?), what is the point in staying in an Inn if you never see or talk to anyone, then you can go to a hotel directly...Nice looking from the outside, but the inside was a bit old and not very clean. You don't feel welcome at all when you come in, you only have written orders everywhere. When you come in you have to remove your shoes immediately (camera is watching), but no slippers provided, so you can walk to your room on a floor that looked less clean than the shoes....We stayed in a lot of Inns in Quebec and new Brunswick, there we had much cheaper and nicer stays. Bathroom looked clean except toilet seat (wood) was already lightly splintered. Room was very small due to 3beds (we were 2 and paid for a suite, what is the point in having an extra bed?) hardly enough space to put the luggage. Bath towels had been cleaned (smelled cleaned) but obviously not enough since there were orange and yellow staines remaining...The inside of the queen bed was covered with hair and what looked like skin particles (like a dog had been passing over), we removed the most but since it was already late when we noticed we didn't go elsewhere. Don't let me start about the look of the outside of the third bed (pillow :-(...) In the morning we checked another room that was empty to see if they're all like this, it looked nice and clean and had more space.....Breakfast was like in a hostel, you sat at tables that were not clean when you arrived, food was OK...In conclusion, if you are lucky maybe you get the other room, for us never again.
Location in ST John's near the main street and near stanley hill. Free WIFI. Nice looking from the outside.
