The St. Regis Hotel

Friendly staff, close to skytrain station, shops and resturants in the area, free internet and business centre

Cheaper rooms are so noisy (turbines next door) that I had to change to and pay extra for upgrade to a room on 5th floor which was very small, very basic breakfast

Friendly staff. Good size suite, bathroom and bed.

One small slow elevator. No high rise views.

The staff is extraordinary. In particular, Breanne, Craig and Erika (restaurant next door). I don't recall the name of the person serving breakfast (shorter of the two women). But she was exceptional as well. They made our entire team of guests feel important and welcome. On a subsequent trip, they remembered us by name. Not sure I've run into hotel staff anywhere that was as good as them. Others were good at the St. Regis, but those four went way above the call of duty, and did it genuinely.

Parking isn't great. We also had some billing issues that have taken a long time to work out. Some in our group would have preferred a little more variety in the breakfast, while others were fine with it.

We stayed at the St. Regis Hotel for four nights and found it perfect for our visit to Vancouver. The rooms are well finished, comfortable and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is also perfectly located - halfway between the harbour front and the main shopping streets and 1 block from the SkyTrain to the airport.

Hotel was quiet and comfortable, room was well appointed. Staff was friendly. Location was good for downtown and convention center access.

Staff was friendly but could be better trained and weren't always available when I was looking.

Very city center - easy access to all transportation and easy access to waterfront, Canada Place, etc. Extremely friendy staff, great complemtary breakfast, great evening bar without ever having to leave the premises, all in all, a great place. Vic Sanders, Arlington, VA

The Hotel is a perfect location for shopping and site seeing with the kids, Science world etc.

Excellent service, unique and high end decor, fabulous bathrooms and soaker tub, quality bedding, comfortable bed, breakfast included.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. When we asked for suggestions of restaurants they gave a broad list of options that suited our tastes. We felt very secure in this hotel and the room was spotless. It was one of our favourite places to stay on our trip, and we would recommend it without hesitation.

I liked the included breakfast very much. A few more items might be nice.

Very central location - many downtown attractions and restaurants all walking distance. Attention to details evident throughout the hotel and lovely atmosphere.

Unfortunate that the inroom movie did not work the evening we were there.

Rooms furniture is excellent definitely high class. You won't face often a staff available like at the St Regis, they're outstanding.

Noise from streets due to lack of proper insulation of windows in front rooms, however we were moved to a room (even bigger) in the back side.

The rooms were beautifully designed. The colors were well orchestrated with the elegant furniture. Wireless and a full, delicious breakfast were included. The location could not be better for downtown Vancouver--walking distance to museums, the harbor, great shopping. The service was five-star from the breakfast staff to the receptionists, the maid service and the excellent bellman. Everyone was friendly and genuinely interested in the guests' comfort and experiences while in Vancouver. All the staff were eager to assist with ideas to explore Vancouver.

Everything was first-class and couldn't have been better.
