We have stayed here many times and always find the staff and the accommodation "top drawer".

The first thing that impressed us was the attentive and accommodating staff. Then it was the cleanness if the hallways and rooms. We also thought the design and the colour palettes were pleasing, restful, and reflective of a seashore setting. Finally. We liked the location for its proximity to shops,restaurants, a d walking paths.

That we couldn't stay longer!!

King size bed very comfortable. The location was on the waterfront in a beautiful small town with lots of shops and restaurants.

Booking had been incorrect. Hotel had us booked in for only two people and yet the Booking.com record showed what we requested - up to four people. We had a confirmed room for two adults and one child (13 years old) and yet the room had only a couch (not even a sofa bed).

The hotel is beautiful in its design and room comfort. Also, the hotel is centrally located and near the water which make for a perfect setting.

A young fellow at the front desk 'greeted' us by saying that since our last visit to the hotel with our family dog, the hotel has changed their dog friendly policy and will only accept dogs that are 'tea-cup' sized! Our dog has stayed with us in many hotels (the Fairmont and Pan Pacific for example) and we have always been treated with kindness and respect. Due to the this new and unfriendly policy at the Sidney on the Pier, we cut our stay short and will most likely never return. The 'young' manager of the hotel was not interested in my suggestions or concerns and actually was quite happy when I informed her that we would be cutting our stay short. Hmmmmm and we wonder why business and the hospitality industry in Canada suffers!!!!

Beautiful hotel, Great location. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The value is there, but somewhat disappointed that the rate did not include breakfast or parking. (When broaching the parking fee with the front desk clerk, the response was "Well, whenever I stay at hotels I always have to pay parking").

Breakfast and parking are extra costs.

Well located in centre of Sidney and close to the airport with modern facilities and good resaurant.

tub-mounted water shield allowed water onto floor during shower; due to style of lavatory fawcets, turning basin fawcets off with wet hands resuted in much water around sink countertop; no lid on toilet creates risk of loss of items falling from counter top.

It was very peaceful but yet walking distance to very nice dining. We looked out over the ocean and it was sooooo nice.

Had a wonderful time at the spa very good people there

The bed was very hard and unforgiving.

We found that you couldn't get a lot of TV stations or order a movie. I know you had free movies to watch but the selection was okay.

We had a room with ocean view which was a nice, big sized room. We appreciated the coin laundry on each floor. It is within walking distance of a large variety of restaurants and grocery store. We loved our stay here!

A very nice quiet spot with lots of comfort. The restaurant food and service was excellent. I was just shocked to learn that I could obtain a toothbrush and tooth paste by just asking the reception - I forgot mine at home!
