Room was clean, attractive, and had more than a few amenities, including an equipped galley kitchen and laundry facilities. My wife and I felt as if we were staying in a boutique hotel, but with over 300 rooms One King West is certainly not that! The hotel is situated downtown, in the business district, but is convenient to most (if not all) of the city. a path train is accessible right through the lobby. We will definitely return and do recommend One King West highly. The fan drawing heat into the room was loud . . . trivial, but I have to say something! More importantly, the hotel had me "reserved" a month later than booked through Booking.com, so my wife and I were nervous upon check-in, wondering if we had been closed out. I have no idea how the error occurred, and we were not at fault, and the hotel resolved it quickly. The moral of the story is: Bring the print-out of your Booking.com reservation!

The dinner we had in the dining room @" the bistro on king" was amazing. We were expecting just regular fare and we were pleasantly surprised. We would come back even just for dinner!! Would have preferred to have a tub in the room

I enjoyed the atmosphere at the hotel, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel architecture was quite amazing as well as the tour of the bank vault in the basement. During my conference the meeting rooms were spacious and quite temperate. I did not like the cost of the breakfast my first morning - the quality and amount was anything but fulfilling.

I really enjoyed the Suite I was in along with the assistance. Other than that my stay was also great due to the location. I didn't really have any dislikes I just wished they had a bigger fitness room with more equipment.

I liked to be close by many other entertaining options, as restaurants, sport arenas, clubs, and shopping. I like the overall service. I felt comfortable in the room, it was clean and covered all my expectations. I didn't like the 1/2 hour waiting for my car from the valet service, after calling 1 hour in advance to have it ready. I called the service at 12pm to be ready at 1pm, but end up getting the car at 1:30pm.

Location was excellent, acted as a great base from which to explore the city, very easy to navigate from. Room was a good size for a studio. Room could have been cleaned to a higher standard. Although the bed was made, bin emptied and towels replaced, it was obvious the room had not been hoovered and the sink not cleaned in the bathroom. Would have liked a bath as well as a shower in the bathroom.

The room was clean, and having the washer and dryer was fantastic. The hotel was close to shops and major attractions. The room design was unusual eg kitchen facilities but nowhere to sit and eat. A couch would have been good. All of the staff were excellent except the bar staff who were unfriendly.

--Fast wi-fi.. -Clean fully equiped suites with washer, dryer, fridge, good selection of channels on tv, oven and good shower. -Nice view upon the city. -The hotel have a historic flair with it's old bank style. --...but wifi only in the lobby. Unlike what's listed on the site, internet cost money to access in the rooms. Have to ask the reception to gain access everyday. -2hAM screaming alarm waking up everybody in the hotel. We were in a panic, trying to understand what was going on. Putting the lights on, we press the VERY BADLY PLACED fire alarm button that is next to the light switches. Unable to stop it and with a voice coming on the speakerphone extremely loudly to say firemen are coming but to stay there and be deafened. elevator out, had to run 30 floors down to cancel our own alarm. Elevator fell down when i tried to return to the room after the 30 minutes + crisis. Disheartening reaction from the staff. Our case is just one among hundred of similar tale. -Avoid this place if you have vertigo. Suites are too high, and yet sounds from the city come through. -Hard to go park.
