I have stayed at the hotel alot over the past 3 mths and usually have a good visit. This time it was not good. I did not have enough hot water for a shower on both mornings, had issues at breakfast and lunch and check in and out was terrible. Very disappointing. I also had 3 other rooms (employees) booked at the same time. We are in your hotel almost weekely, but I may now look at other alternative hotels.

We visited during the Christmas season, and the interior & exterior of the hotel were absolutely beautifully decorated. Very warm, welcoming staff & ambiance. The cost is quite high, in particular the $39.50/night parking fee. Although I imagine these rates are comparable with other hotels of this caliber.

Have mixed reviews for the restaurant, one night it was fabulous, the next night poor service and barely adequate meals. Love the location, walking distance to Pacific Centre, yet the hotel is very quiet.

Location This hotel is due for upgrade and renovation. The bathrooms and hotel cheap furniture were depressing. The hotel is very cheaply decorated and provisioned. We book several rooms, and consistently they didnt bother to refill many things in the rooms. Many broken items in the rooms as well. The bathroom towels, linens in the room and the money grabbing - charge a lot for internet access and even local calls when telephone is flat fee per month is not excusable. It is ironic that we can get free internet in cheap hotels or backpacked places but in this 4*, we have to pay for it. It claims to be 4* but really it is a 3* when the rooms are concerned. We asked for earlier check-in at 1pm after a very long haul travel, but when we arrve there, none of our booked rooms were ready, again this is a bad sign.

The Sutton is an older hotel with lots of class. The entrance and lobby are beautiful and elegant. When we got to our room it was a twin and we called down and requested a king, which we were given. The decor and furniture are tasteful and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything in the room was in good working order. The sheets and towels were of a high quality. We found the staff extremely accommodating and pleasant.The location was very central. We could walk to Stanley Park in about 20 minutes. There were many shops and restaurants in the area.
