Bed and bedding

Thought the Sunday buffet was overpriced, even with $5 off - not the kind of variety or caliber that was expected. The croissant was very dry and staile, when I mentioned it to the waiter, he just agreed with me.. Was disappointed that the shuttle driver dropped me at the international Westjet counter instead of domestic - he didn't ask where I was going - and that mistake eventually meant that I missed my flight. The front desk clerk was courteous but didn't even direct me to the elevators.

The staff was very friendly, and even though you have to pay for WiFi in the room, there is free WiFi in the lobby. The beds are comfy.

There are some aspects that could use some touching up--stains on the carpet and scuff marks on the wall, and the comforter on my bed had been ripped or sliced and the inner layer was glued back together, but the outer layer hadn't been fixed.

Comfortable king bed and clean room and bathroom. Cleaning staff were great. The night manager and woman at reception in the morning (May) were excellent and did everything to try to make our stay a pleasant one (see comments about what we didn't like).

We booked and paid for a "Deluxe" King room but were given a "King" and not told so. When asking about internet in the room, we were told it would be $14+ and with the parking charge of $15, we found these charges excessive. However the night manager made it right by providing us with free internet (after we had to ask and show them the booking records) and after I asked, provided complimentary breakfast in place of the deluxe room we didn't get. Also, there are no change facilities or washrooms at the pool or workout room - very inconvenient, and not to the standards of a Westin.

Door man was good, shuttle bus to and from airport was quick and friendly.

Tried to book a second night there and wanted to charge us double.

Inside the room the bed, bathroom and tv were up to date. Nothing else!

Everything else, except the bed, bathroom and tv is outdated. Spotty, old carpet in the room, very loud ac that needs to be shut down over night, Darkish eighties foyer, mud inspired wall colors, elevators ran down, hallways with approximately 20 year old carpets and mud colored walls. Parking lot was completely occupied, had to park at different spot nearby. Roughly 200 cad / night is by far too much.

Beds were amazing and staff very polite.

Paying for parking was ridiculous.

The service in the lounge bar was NOT up to par. We were noticed by the staff, but no reaction. I had to walk over to get a menu. It was not exactly busy. In all 5 customers ready to go, and us two just arrived. Time was about 2230hrs

Perfect location for easy access to airport and 401. Best of the airport strip hotels - and close to a variety of restaurants for out-of-hotel dining. A pleasure - will definitely return.

The pool area could use a good cleaning of the floor and the sunroof is disgusting..

Location ideal for the airport

The information folder in the room was printed in a very lightly contrasted print - this was difficult to read even in good light. The information was not plainly obvious, eg. took a while to find the room servcie telephone number.

A very nice restaurant with good food.

Great atmosphere. Desk clerk efficient, friendly & accommodating. The bed looked brand new with the cleanest sheets.

Carpet had a couple stains. The bathroom could use some touching up.

Cleanliness, great value. Staff was accommodating, curtious, fast and efficient. Elevators were amazingly fast! Already planning to go back.

Expensive, not particularly good wifi

Generally hotel is fine for a 4star. It is close to airport with free shuttle (every 30 mins). The Bedrooms quite adequate with usual amenties. If not included in your rate, the cooked breakfast is around USD 25/person.

There is an internet charge (aound USD 15 per 24 hours) to use it. However, about 100 steps away (1 minutes walk) is the Holiday Inn Express which has free internet. All in all, the HIE is cheaper, and depending on what you want is adequate if only using the Westin Bristol Place to attend conference.

great Heavenly beds. good location. Ate in the hotel restaurant which we never usually do..food was very tasty,service good .the restaurant banquettes need an update.too low to eat comfortably and the wines are Overpriced.
