The crib was easily available for our young child. Restaurant pricing was absurd (breakfast was $27+ per adult), room was very plain (although clean) - bare necessities. There was nothing "castle" like about the hotel, even though the name suggests otherwise.

The Terrace room was a bonus to have as we had a small dog with us , so was very convenient. Parking was a huge hassle ... Valet parking on pick up also lost our keys ...

It was a very nice enviroment. Very warm staff. The floor right outside my door was not very clean, shreads of paper were outside and there was also crumbs and a candy laying on the floor inside. Not very clean on the floor.

Loved the view across the Lake, rooms were very comfortable. The guest in the next room was smoking continuously and I could smell it every time I walked out of our room.

The location is good and the views from the room were excellent, apart from that it is an overpriced hotel... With the pretext to be environmental friendly the cleaning of the room (changing bed sheets) is not done daily, I do want THAT...if you are paying over c$400 you expect the best of the services. Food is limited in the lobby bar and overpriced, as a breakfast in the restaurant. I can understand that hotels during big events (I was attending pdac) wants to rip off as much as they can. Food in other venues wasn't as expensive as here.

Wonderful staff - great view of the city. Really close to Queen's Quay, so summertime guests can have a really nice walk along the water to get to entertainment/concerts, etc. 10 minute walk up Yonge St gets you to restaurants and shopping. The room was very nicely furnished with lots of room to walk around. I had a single King bed with flat screen TV and sitting area. There was also a computer desk to setup my laptop with wired internet. A must for road warriors like me, to get a solid VPN connection to work. Internet is posted at $15/day - but the gentleman at the front desk comped me after a brief conversation about internet connectivity in this day and age. The fridge was empty - no minibar. (But there was a fridge for my use.) No deductions for this, as I am sure some travellers would rather this option. And, there is a bar at the main lobby level!

It was very convinient and well located. The staff were very helpful and patient. We had a great view of the lake. Enjoyed my stay. The room could have been dusted a bit more throughly and the room service menu was already filled by a previous customer.

The location and the heavenly bed. This comes with reasonable price. Quite old, need some renovation esp the bathroom. Water leakage from the shower head, this contradict to their eco friendly, going green notion. The guest service staff is not well trained. When I asked for spoon, plate and bowl since I have a mircowave in my room, the first thing the guest service staff said to me was "if you asked for more than 5 items, we will have to charge you 2.50 service charge!" When I question about this charge, she said it was not her that set these rules. I did not indicate that it was her however she was very defensive. Westin should train their staff properly. This is the worst treatment I have received from Westin hotels from all the Westin hotels I have stayed.

The cost of using WIFI in the rooms was ridiculous and obviously aimed at the expense account traveller. Given the cost of the room, I believe this price should be included in the overall cost. Breakfast was also obviously aimed at corporate accounts. The high cost of both breakfast and WIFI made a a "holiday" stay much less pleasant.
