again, never reaching front desk or concierge. left 2 vm's for 2 different reasons, but no call back. frustrating
also, had wake up call for 6am, then changed it to 6:45am (was called and changed within 5 min, the day before), however , wake up call still came at 6am.
Wait staff in restaurant (ate there 2x for dinner), were short, curt and needed direction on what sides come with mains on menu. constantly had to flag down people for service, a little frustrating.
Had minor embarrassing incident with Cirque du Soleil staff. Electronic boards in hotel advised Cirque rehearsals. I checked with front desk bag porter, was advised location of room. Port 4& 5. I opened the door and saw girls dancing in the room. One of the Cirque people ran to me and said "can I help you, what are you doing here?", in a stern voice. Then pronounced to tell me this is ridiculous, "who told you this" "where is it advertised." I pointed to the bag porter, and she barked at him, then asked me to show her the boards Cirque was posted. I proceeded to do so because she was quite angry. I ended up showing her and then she walked away frustrated.
Major disturbance with a patron around 3 am on Saturday morning. A chap was yelling and pounding on a door. I waited about 27 min before calling front desk. I understand you can't be responsible for your patrons' actions. However, surely someone must have been aware of this and advised sooner than almost half an hour into the incident? Maybe I'm wrong, but that was not a good nights sleep.
If I'm looking for great amenities, this is the place, if I'm looking for great customer service, I'd look elsewhere, sorry to say that.
