The beds are amazing, the staff was so nice , and the location can't be beat!!
Everything was great! Missed the robes in our room this time.
Location, close to all attraction and downtown core
Did not like paying for parking, it is too expensive. $45 for valet plus I had to get my own vehicle when we checked out, and $35 to park a block and a half away? Very inconvenient. Hotel was loud and could not sleep. Washroom had mold in it and room carpets were dirty.
I'm an spg member and tried to change the night for other day and received no help nor answer. I'm really angry with this situation. I've stayed in many Starwood hotels before, it is the first time I have no answer to my request.
It was all great. We enjoy a lot Great view in bay side rooms.
the man who checked me in was least helpful ; no smile;
There was no fridge in my room.
There was only one temperature available in our room no matter what we set the thermostat to, and that was sub-zero! Otherwise the hotel was good, especially for pet owners! Buffet breakfast is overpriced for what is offered and booking.com misleads customers by saying the "total" amount is $ when in the fine print they mention the absence of taxes and surcharges in the "total", so technically it's not the total! I don't remember this being the case with booking.com in the past.
I enjoyed the fact that this is hotel was convenient to my Events that I was going too
We were upgraded for free to room with a lake view and king-size bed.
Very nice accommodations and perfect location for air Canada centre
A lot of charges for things in room and also no free wifi
Many facilities available and friendly staff all over
The beds were not comfortable when you are tall person and the extra's like breakfast, parking and Wifi are overpriced
The view from our room. Location. Staff friendly
Great location! We were able to walk directly from the VIA Rail station to the hotel. No taxi required! Being right next door to the ferry to Toronto Islands was a bonus. Also close to a Sobey's grocery/deli for good take-out options.
The "nickel & dining" for every last thing, like local phone calls. Come on! I hate the one-cup coffee makers that are replacing the carafes—and couldn't they at least provide china mugs?? And drinking glasses that aren't plastic?? Cheap, cheap.
Beds very comfortable Room clean, very quiet Friendly cleaning staff Competent front desk staff Car valet service excellent
Price Waiting line to sign in and out Not enough seating in lobby Had only one bath towel in a two, double bed room TV remote did not work--screen was lit all night; no instructions Low quality toilet paper
Walking distance to Rogers Centre and CN Tower.
Pillows were OK, but I prefer larger, thicker ones. Had to take the plug out of the bathtub so water would drain out.
The room and perfect view of the lake. The main lobby had very comfortable seating with a nice view outside.
The restaurant where the buffet breakfast was located was "ok". I didn't much care for the layout - too casual. I recommend the breakfast buffet be moved to the restaurant at the top of the hotel.
No extra charge!
Currently a lot of construction
tapete on floors and chairs in dining room were at some places very dirty. Should be renewed. Little bit old furniture in that sense.
We had a lake view room in the north tower. Wonderfully comfortable king bed in a really good sized room. Good bathroom, Starbucks coffee. Friendly helpful staff, good restaurants.
Parking is expensive at $45.
Pulling into the covered entrance I was immediately impressed by how beautifully decorated it was. We arrived an hour after regular check in time to avoid lines, however there was a small wait to get parked as there was a line of cars. Check in was quick and easy. Emilia at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. She even arranged for beer and snacks to be delivered to our room along with a birthday card for my husband. Very sweet! Our room was beautiful and our bed was super comfortable, definitely difficult to get out of bed in the morning. All in all our stay was great and the staff were all very friendly and professional. I would definitely stay again....if I could manage a discounted room :)
Valet parking was expensive. For the price of staying one night I was hoping breakfast would be included. Also for the calibre of hotel I was shocked that free WiFi was not included in the room fee. A/C in room was loud and rickety.
Staff are first class - Mohammed in the lobby breakfast area; David at the front desk; Florilynn in room housekeeping.
Bar fridge in room didn't work; no place to hang hand towels in bathroom.
Location was great Very comfortable bed View was fantastic Shower head in bathroom much better than what you see in cheaper hotels.
Very disappointed that a room that cost $350 didn't have a mini fridge but rather a "cooling" machine designed to only keep beverages cold. (Which it did not do). I recently paid $89 for a room at a Quality Inn that had a full kitchen complete with a full sized fridge, microwave AND stovetop.
hotel staff were willing to not charge us $90 for parking fees and said they would put something on their site to let people know.
parking is a separate company and you don't know about giving your car to the valet until you are there. We were there around lunch, too early to check in. The valet rushed us to grab our things so they could park it . We felt very uneasy about what to grab. We had even called to see if we could park there as we had plans downtown,,,,nothing was said on the phone about the situation of parking,
