the room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the staff was friendly and efficient.
I think the staff was very nice, professional and welcoming. The late 3pm Sunday checkout was a very nice touch.
Hotel was nice, clean, staff very helpful
You would think that at a higher level hotel, that free internet in room would go hand and hand with the price paid, i just don't get it.
We asked for a lakeview room on a high floor -- totally worth it. You just can't beat the location When we collected the car from the valet parking, one of the tires was entirely flat (not the fault of the parking situation). The parking folks quickly retrieved a battery-powered tire pump and inflated the tire for us so we could be on our way.
(These are not complaints about this particular property but general gripes about Westin and other pricier chains.) Having to pay for wifi is just ridiculous. Ditto the cost of valet parking -- but see the related note in the other category
Location was excellent, staff were great.
Having to pay for internet in the room.
wi fi not included
loved the view, staff, access to downtown core & amenities
the carpet in my room was heavily soiled
I liked that we were able to get away from our 4 kids for what was supposed to be a romantic New Years Eve.
I didn't like the fact there was someone elses hair stubble on the shower wall when i was showering. I didn't like the towel rack that came crashing down on me what I was showering. I didn't like that there was no mini fridge in the room to chill the champagne. I didn't like that the Ice machine was broken on our floor, so I had to go to another floor in my PJ's to get ICE for the champagne. I didn't like that there was trash strewn about the hallways on our floor. After multiple trips downstairs and back up New Years Morning, the trash was noticed to be there for at least 3 hours before we checked out.
Staff were amazing, they couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.
all staff have an excellent customer service
The suite and the hotel was very nice. The bed was nice and washrooms and everything were clean
The security kicked me out of the because I was waiting for my friend who was bringing the credit card we needed to check in and they did rudely too. The staff never seemed to care about that and simply nodded ignoring my concern the staff was horrible. No action was taken. I had to sit outside in the cold cause no one is allowed in the hotel lobby without a room key
The comfort of the room
The staff was very unfriendly
The staff at the front desk were amazing , they gave us a lake view and late check out and were very personable
Location and cleanliness!
We were revisiting the Westin for our 30th anniversary. We had stayed there exactly 30 years ago on our wedding night. Recently I had booked the room a few days ahead of time, and when my wife found out where we were going she called ahead and explained the situation and used one phrase with the Assistant Director of Guest Experience, Aditya Prabaswara, Can you do anything magical for us? When we got there for check-in, Aditya greeted us and escorted us personally up to the Prime Minister's Suite. Imagine we were overwhelmed and our stay at the Westin was Magical. The location was fantastic. The staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable. Easy to get transportation.
The rooms had nothing to offer other than a bed and shower. The building just seemed old in general. When paying $200 per night, I would expect more of an apartment, home like feel, not a box room. Modern hotels are building appropriately.
Location, easy on/off major freeway. Walking (longish) distance to downtown eateries. Lovely uninterrupted view of Lake Ontario. Clean, comfortable bed. Staff very responsive and helpful.
Cost, furniture/fittings looking a little tired. Small/compact room size. Extortionate on-site parking fees.
Waterfront location, comfortable bed, attentive and responsive staff (trimmed some charges from the bill when told of electrical and plumbing problems)
Charging for WiFi, rooms need some detail cleaning (grimy baseboards etc.), sink was slow to drain, gang plug under desk stopped working (but staff responded)
Lake View. Wide window you can see the airplane take off on the oppoistie island.
Prefer to the free WIFI.
The location to the ACC. The room ,
I thought 45 dollars to park was bit much
coffee was excellent, oatmeal, great server, comfortable atmosphere
dryed out french toast...seasoning in scrambled eggs, sausages, priced a little high.
location to Air Canada Centre and downtown
Great view over the lake. It was walking district to the theatre district.
It is separated from the city by a major road.
the pool was clean and the room was clean
my sheets were not clean
Loved the view and the spa and the pool. Starbucks coffee in room was a great treat. And the staff....oh my goodness, do they cater to your every need!
long line at check-in, having to pay for wifi, not very mobility challenged friendly, VERY overpriced food
