Staff at reception were very helpful, specially Jopseph. Many restaurants and facilities just across the street. Parking fee reasonable compared to other hotels.
how friendly the staff were
Nice, and friendly staff.
Very stingy with everything.
staff was qccomodating
paid WiFi linked once for a minute $35
Very good location in mid town, can find restaurants, telco and supermarket just cross the road
The hotel is clean & good location to the city.
I had to pay for parking $12.00 per night for the nights spent there. internet service is $6.00. that was ridiculous. every modern hotel has internet & breakfast included in the amount paid but not this one. Parking is a distance walk. The encounter with the receptionist is nothing to remember.
Location, rooms , Katsura, Great breakfasts.
Cheapening of amenities, E.g. Lowest quality toilet paper! also charging us big bucks to use Internet. The most recent restaurant serves mediocre middle-eastern food
clean hotel with nice view.
too far to park
The rooms and everything in them were thoughtfully presented and made staying there a pleasure
General layout and comfortable ambiance, furnishings and efficient elevators.
Bickering (loudly and foul mouthedly) couple in neighbouring room spoiled one night....thought the walls were more solid until then! Not a nice experience.
Nice beds in okay rooms
Too pricey even with discount. Construction in lobby. Old and tired look. Smell of mold in the bathroom. Bad view. Charge for parking. Charge for internet. Basic bacon and eggs breakfast buffet for $22 (!?!?!?)
accommodations and the accommodating service of all staff: desk, doorway, cleaning
nothing to say here
lousy or non existent business center, very slow elevators, room had a decaying and useless fridge which was a breeding ground for mold and bacteria, note even a pad of paper to write messages on, very dirty phones that were disgusting, I could go on. Billed as five star, laughable as a three star
Pool closed for renovations
Comfortable. Good breakfast.
I booked on booking.com for the first night. I asked if I could stay another night but the hotel could not match the rate. I stood at reception in front of the manager and booked on my computer through booking and got the better rate. Strange. not exactly picturesque. Had to pay in for everything (wifi, parking)
1st class service. Wonderful room...will stay there next time we come to Toronto.
Located in a corporate headquarters suburb, outside the hustle and bustle of Toronto with several excellent places to eat and drink next to and across the street from the hotel. Nice lobby bar.
We had a concrete balcony facing the back that looked like it had been severely exposed to the elements and had fallen into disrepair 50 years ago. There was no balcony furniture, i.e., chairs or table. Two empty wine glasses remained on the carpet outside the door of the adjoining room for about 36 hours, as if they were some a museum exhibit. The walkway between the hotel and the Japanese and Persian restaurants looked abandoned and smelled of mildew. Grounds keeping in the rear of the hotel was hurting. An enticing stone stairway from the wooded area in the back leads to a locked door at the lobby, causing one to retrace one's steps.
Friendly, knowledgable staff and clean, updated facilities
No breakfast included
Breakfast, Swimming pool
I had a great view of the car park from my room. Wifi / parking was not included.
Lovely green space surrounding the grounds - near to expressway for entry and exit to city
lobby and main areas kept very cold even on a day when it was not hot outside
No shoehorn no shower cap
Price was acceptable. Facilities good. Walking trail nearby an asset. Access to Gardiner very convenient.
Incredible atmosphere, beautiful land, very "resort like", staff were incredible!! Definitely would recommend to friends, and will visit again our next time in Toronto!
We liked the very nice grounds. The location was great for our needs.
Location and good value for money
Breakfast wasnt that good during my stay
