The owner was pleased to tell us how her B & B evolved from a run down building to a pleasant B & B. It was nice to have a Keurig machine on the second floor with a selection of tea and coffee for use at any time. The mattress was comfortable.
The steep stairs to the second floor could be a problem for guests with bad knees.
Picked this B & B just because of location to Pelee Island Winery and it was a fantastic surprise. Beautiful decor, comfy beds, clean ensuite bathrooms and a wonderful host with indepth knowledge of her community. I would go back again.
I liked everything but would like to have more of a seating area within the room (ie. more chairs or sofas).
Wonderful environment, the owner really love her job. Near everything.
Liked the VIctorian feel of the house, the vibrant personality of the hostess, the convenient location.
The pedestrian menu of the breakfast, the parking so far from the entrance, poor timing on serving.
Cathy was a wonderful hostess--so easygoing and welcoming. We felt right at home at The Woodbridge. Cathy is also a tremendous cook. Her gourmet breakfasts were to die for:)!
The location of Woodbridge makes it the ideal spot to stay for all Pelee tourist attractions!
No AC overnight..........
historical ambience gracious host good food excellent location
stairs not easy room on small side
Quirkiness of decor.
No walkway to front door
Kathy was a good hostess, we had quite a bit in common. The house is gorgeous, lots of beautiful antiques
the bathroom sink was a bit tricky to access
Location is excellent. Close to Pelee Island winery and greenhouses for plant and produce shopping.
An v.minor issue with the gluten-free breakfast which wasn't totally gluten-free, however, something that was remediated while checking-out.
Grand historic home beautifully restored. Cathy welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home for our 3 day stay. Excellent breakfasts with lively conversation in grand dining room.
I quite enjoyed dialoging with Kathy, she was very knowledgeable about the area, and the history of the area. She has been in the B&B business for numerous years and made every attempt to make our stay pleasing. Breakfast was exceptional, the mattress on our bed was great so we had a very rested sleep.
I didn't like the location of being on a busy street, but in that being said I slept very well because the bed was so comfortable and because the traffic dies down at night. Slept through a thunder storm.
The owner was a delight! She really made our stay speical!
Overall experience was very good. Very knowledgeable host , very accomodating and friendly . Would have liked to have had a small T.V in room to watch in evening and to get the weather.
The ambiance of the house, it was spotless and the owner was just awesome in ensuring your stay was great. The Breakfast was healthy and plentiful.
The house was on a very busy road so when your window was open the traffic noise was very evident. In our particular room, the bathroom sink had a beautiful antique cabinet above it, which was way too close to the sink so you couldn't wash your face without hitting your head. There was no key to the house provided so you could only come and go when the owner was there. Mind you it was during the day 11-3 so it wasn't too bad to coordinate.
Very friendly host, who greeted us at the door and made us very welcome. Kathy was very informative about the district and things to see and lots of additional information about the county, history of the house and its owners.
Location was good, convenient to attractions and towns. Cathy was a delight to meet as was her assistant Kenlyn. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast excellent.
