Thornton Motel  

Number one budget friendly. Bonus: large window with view, clean bathroom, eating room and table, view, warm heating, good small fridge, coffee pot, tea pot all worked well. Two fair beds that worked well Fishing and have family members living in town only needed a room.

old carpet and bedding. walls thin and noise filtered up. Earplugs were necessary. no dogs allowed.

Good value - lots of space and a well equipped kitchen, great location, and extras like a discount on whale watching made this even better value. We were very comfy for our one night stay and would definitely return.

The size of the room for the cost was excellent. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean and friendly. I have already told our friends were we stayed and said it would be a good alternative to staying in Tofino.

The pots in the room all had loose handles. Not safe because the you never know if the pots will break. I am not sure if microwaves are standard anymore in hotels but that would have made the trip perfect.

The Hotel was very clean, the owners were extremely freindly and well versed in the area and for activities going on. The room we had had a very nice kitchenette. Full size stove and fridge well equipped with all the basics and MORE than a 4 cup coffee pack/ coffee maker. Overall it was an enjoyable stay and I would reccomend to families and friends.

First room was not cleaned, but staff quickly found another room for us.

We stayed as a mature couple with friends and a teenager. We were there for fishing. The location was good, close tonthe dock and to restaurants and stores,we loved the suite with kitchen, ample parking, nice porch,etc. great place to stay for a fishing holiday

We were there just for the night before our fishing charter. Motel was convenient, reasonably clean and a great value for our needs would not hesitate to stay there again.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We had a unit with kitchen and it would have been nice to have a microwave.

Very quaint. Much more than I expected. Pictures on Internet don't do place justice. Very pleasantly surprised with motel. Will definitely recommend.

It was clean. Useful kitchenette. Room was spacious.

The welcome was not very friendly. The beds were hard. For some reason the washbasin was not in the bathroom but in the bedroom. It was a very ordinary motel. Having stayed in quite a few, this one was not special, and was not worth its rating of 9. Nor was it worth 125 dollars plus taxes. We have stayed in 90 dollar motels as good or better. Who gave it 9?

I liked the value for the money, simple, clean, spacious (we were in a kitchenette). It was conveniently located in Uclulet.

The only thing I didn't like was that the walls are not very sound proof. We could also hear all the walking around of the people upstairs. But it wasn't that horrible, no one was excessive in their noise and things quieted down for the evening.

It was nicer than most Motels. The kitchenette is well equipped. Centrally located near gas stations, market place, restaurants.

Absence of Microwave was a surprise. Since we were on the ground floor, every movement on the upper floor could be heard. Website said two bedrooms but there was one bedroom with two queen sized beds.

Space - great for an APD dialysis patient. Easy to find after a long journey Comfy bed..

No room service if you were late going out. We left the room about noon but had missed room service. Only a minor moan!
