The staff is very friendly and will try to do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible!Cosy and clean bedrooms, delicious fresh breakfast and super friendly staff!!!
We were warmly welcomed by Miko, a great host who showed us our lovely and clean room under the roof... He offered us sweets, coffee and tea during the day and great pancakes, eggs and much more in the morning. We felt at home immediately!
Felt like home!
only 2 bathrooms
This place was a pleasant surprise. Everything was spotless, the atmosphere was cozy, the bed was very comfortable and the host was extra friendly. I was offered a ride to the Distillery District by the host when I arrived that evening. This saved me an expensive cab fare (normally I would have walked, but the weather that night was pretty bad). Guests were welcome to use the kitchen anytime and were made to treat the B&B as "home-away-from-home". There was a large supply of food for breakfast. I was surprised to open the fridge and find it well-stocked with meat, cheese, yogurt and drinks for our breakfast. The price was definitely worth it. I will certainly stay here again if I ever need to stay downtown another time.
Within 30 min of everything on foot. Proprietors are great. Ground floor for use by guests including kitchen. Self serve breakfast. Proprietors arranged for on street parking permit. Quiet street.
B&B located in area in transition so not comfortable walking back after sun down. Good news though, taxi rides are not costly coz the place is close to everything.
The room was cozy and comfortable. Tv and wifi worked perfrctly. Kitchen was clean and available for use at anytime and a good variety of breakfast options. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The shower on the main floor next to the kitchen is quite small.
Bryan was perfect, helping us with everything we need. The bed was really nice and the room was comfortable. The decoration was like a victorian house. Nice. The house is just at the corner of one of Dundas Street with public transport 24/7.
The place ha 2 bathrooms: one at the first floor and another at the second, which was no problem at all. We should stay more, but our room was on the first floor, what I found actually great, but the door of this tiny bathroom opened to the kitchen table. So it was kind of embarassing to use it in the morning while people were having their breakfast.
We never see a staff person. got to the B& B around 9:30pm and had to let ourselves in find the parking pass website and find our room, with no help so had to call someone. Our room was on 3rd floor and didn't realize it when we booked the room. My handicapped mother had to crawl up the last flight of stairs to get to her bed. The buffet breakfast was cold food. Not what I would call a buffet. The room was very hot and had to sleep with door to deck opened, this was November.
Love the in-side of the place. It felt like I was home. I love the fact that there was free breakfast the next morning. The room I stayed in was very nice. Overall experience was great. I would definitely come back and stay there
There was a laundry Matt right beside the house. Didn't feel safe walking at night.
the responsible person got a smily face and quite supportive!
do not take the trillium room at top cauz there is no heat efficiency there, also the steps are so hard to get in to your room! need to be really sportive, do nt travel with elderly ones!
For a first time visitor to Toronto, the place felt warm and welcoming with beautiful wooden floors, daily cleaned rooms, bathrooms with hairdryer, a yummy breakfast of cold meats, cheeses, eggs, tomatoes, orange juice, and spreads, coffee..Miko made a pancake special for me- thank u! Helpful guys- I felt safe and comfortable - had access to phone, wifi, easy access to trams, public transport to Downtown plus airport service cabs. Can walk to town, interesting diverse neighbourhood. Thanks guys for a great stay! Will definitely check in when back in Toronto.
Convenient location, easy access to public transportation. The beds were very comfortable, the room size was adequate. The washroom and shower were clean and tidy. The staff was excellent and helpful with all enquiries. The breakfast was self-serve with lots of choice and always well stocked supplies. A pot of hot coffee was ready and waiting in the morning.
Comfy rooms, beautifully decorated, very friendly owners and manager, delicious breakfast, a nice back garden, very well located. I was travelling by car and Bryan took take of my car parking permit in just a few minutes, so no stress - and a cheaper option to the public parkings available. Great value for money and ideal for short and long-term staying. If i ever go back to Toronto, I know where i am staying!
clean, Dave was an exceptional host.
the location is a bit uncomfortable. many homeless people are who ask for change or a smoke. better not walk back late at night.
comfortable, attractive room with amenities. Free phone for calls in No. America and fast internet on lap top computer available to guests at no charge. Friendly staff interested in guests and their comfort.
Too many guests needing to use the two bathrooms.
Set on a quiet side street in one of many row houses, the Inn is convenient to the Eaton Centre and easy to get to by car. It is still under renovation but is clean and welcoming. Lovely garden out back and friendly hosts.
The area as a whole is up and coming and ready for gentrification so may look a bit decrepit in parts....but it isn't. A great mix of cultures!
Bryan was very nice and welcoming. The place was very clean and cozy. Although you share a bathroom I never had an issue with anyone using the bathroom at the same time. If definitely stay there again. About a mile from downtown toronto.
Excellent location if you like to walk. Distillery, downtown, Chinatown, min shopping and theatres easy and safe walk.
A little street noise.
Innkeeper was very nice and helpful. Self serve breakfast was great - lots of variety for hot or cold breakfast.
Not enough bathrooms for number of guests. AC wasn't adequate and there weren't enough fans - luckily it wasn't too hot.
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the owner outside and given instructions on how to check in and park. He was so friendly and even carried our bags upstairs. Our stay was comfortable and the continental breakfast made us feel like we were at home, definitely was above and beyond what we expected!
No air conditioning in the room made for a little toasty of a sleep.
The room and inn were very well appointed. Great care was made to provide a wide selection of breakfast foods. The price was fantastic for such a clean, comfortable room so close to downtown.
The neighbourhood, while convenient to downtown, had a few run-down elements that some travellers might find unpleasant. It wasn't a great concern of mine, but some travellers might be disappointed the neighbourhood wasn't as pleasant as the inn itself.
This B&B is very centrally located. You can park your car in front of the place (don't forget to ask for a parking permit), and you can reach all the important cites by foot. The rooms are good, and the breakfast is semi-self service. You can take things out of the fridge, fry your own eggs etc. Very relaxed check-in and out times.
close to Cineplex Cinemas Yonge-Dundas
the wifi couldn't be connected
Brian was a great host! He seemed to appear just when you had a question - very kind & helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked & coffee was ready every morning. Very laid back atmosphere, comfy and great outdoor garden! We would certainly stay here again!
The location, the breakfast, as I was able to cook eggs and french toasts. The place was clean and the staff was responsive.
