From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the owner outside and given instructions on how to check in and park. He was so friendly and even carried our bags upstairs. Our stay was comfortable and the continental breakfast made us feel like we were at home, definitely was above and beyond what we expected!

No air conditioning in the room made for a little toasty of a sleep.

The room and inn were very well appointed. Great care was made to provide a wide selection of breakfast foods. The price was fantastic for such a clean, comfortable room so close to downtown.

The neighbourhood, while convenient to downtown, had a few run-down elements that some travellers might find unpleasant. It wasn't a great concern of mine, but some travellers might be disappointed the neighbourhood wasn't as pleasant as the inn itself.

Brian was a great host! He seemed to appear just when you had a question - very kind & helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked & coffee was ready every morning. Very laid back atmosphere, comfy and great outdoor garden! We would certainly stay here again!

The location, the breakfast, as I was able to cook eggs and french toasts. The place was clean and the staff was responsive.

    No A/C.

Comfortable, quiet rooms with a generous breakfast buffet. Within walking distance of the city core and on reliable trolly service for when I'm all walked out.

Very handy and wonderfully tranquil backyard in a busy part of town. Could hardly hear the environs from within the inn. Excellent range of options for breakfast. Would definitely return if in the area as it is excellent value.

My room door was a little tricky to unlock and the TV reception was fuzzy (sorry Brian, should have mentioned these to you!)

Quaint atmosphere, help yourself breakfast if you're leaving early. Snacks and drinks always available. TV in each room. Wifi supported Netflix streaming. Option for street parking pass.

The owners were so relaxed and genuinely seemed interested in making my stay as pleasant as possible. Loved the envelope when I came in to make me feel welcome. They even served me breakfast after regular hours.

Accommodations were good, and bathroom in excellent condition. Breakfast is continental style. Reasonable value for money.

Nearby is a poorer and somewhat risky area of town, and so if walking from the train station or downtown best to go north and then east, rather then east and north! The host isn't too friendly.

My wife and I arrived and Sam welcomed us and showed us around the Inn. He's very positive and friendly. We found parking on the street and toured the city by foot. The location is perfect - not too close to the noise of the city, but not too far that we couldn't walk and take to trolley all over the city. Breakfast was terrific - eggs, ham, cereal, coffee, juice, toast, jam. They even had wi-fi so we could keep up with what was going on while we were away. We look forward to returning again sometime soon.

Our hosts were nice as could be! Very helpful and sweet, making sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. The room and bathroom was incredibly clean, and we were within walking distance to all the areas we wanted to go to during our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone!

That it was a good price in a downtown location.

Picture looks better than reality. Get the front yard and parlor looking better soon.

Get my access code by email to open the front door, all information was clear, room door key was their. Nice clean bathroom, bed cover sheets smell good. Friendly living room area. Someone was smoking a cigarette inside apparently, and was gone owner knock on my door to fix that issue right away. I woke up very urly, so dont have the chance to have breakfast.

Someone was smoking a cigarette in bathroom and was gone, owner told me I' was not allowed to smoke inside because was only one their at the house, told him I'm not a smoker. I was sleeping and he woke me up at 10 pm, but said he was sorry.

The owners are very nice and the place is well kept.

The location of the bed & breakfast is not the best. It was scary walking in the streets after our show - after 10pm. Also, it was noisy at nights due to the roommates. So if you want a quite place, you should book a hotel.

I had the Jasmine room - not large but decorated tastefully and comfortably with everything I needed including a desk for my computer. Very very clean and the bathroom was spotless. I'm an early riser but someone came in very early and put the coffee on in the kitchen. Nice touch. Breakfast is help yourself, which I like. Many many options to choose from including a whole variety of preserves laid out in the well-lit kitchen with a table that's already set for you. A front room that you can sit in and read, so you can stay in your room, use the kitchen or the front room. Just a very comfy place to stay with room to move about. Was able to get a parking pass with no trouble for a nominal cost to park on the street overnight. The place is very thoughtfully run, very comfortable like a lovely home away from home and a great alternative to a hotel. Brian is a great host who takes good care of his guests.

The lock on the bathroom door didn't seem to catch and I wasn't sure if it was locked, which you want with a shared bathroom. Would have liked to be able to lock it from the inside with a slide bolt or something.

It is a very convenient location with quick access to anywhere downtown. The inn has great common facilities, particularly the well set-up kitchen and the renovated bathroom and the bed was comfortable. All at a great price.

It was clean and the staff was friendly.

The neighborhood wasn't the greatest, but for the price it was good. The only thing I really didn't agree with is the 4 star rating it has. It's a decent B&B for Toronto, but no way is it 4 Star.

Excellent little place and new owners are investing in improvements. Its good value for a couple. The main attraction here is breakfast, so leave some time to enjoy it. Also, some reviewers say there is only one bathroom - not true. There is a full bath upstairs and down.

For the price I hoped for a little more comfort.
