Extremely comfortable room, excellent food in the dining area. The location to subway, shopping, entertainment and restaurants is fantastic !
Central position for seeing the city and easy to get around from there.
Breakfast was a bit dull, presentation unexciting and variety of foods limited.
The room was spacious and clean with comfortable bed and bedding. Modern bathroom, lovely toiletries, good restaurant for breakfast and excellent gym. The staff were helpful, check out was easy and we were able to store our bags after checkout. We'll be back!
There was a mouldy smell coming from the bathroom sink
I got a excellent rate and it was very clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice and helpful. Excellent time and would difinately book again!!
The bed was very comfortable
Valet parking is a joke. Room very small as was bathroom. Difficult to access hotel. Staff very apathetic. Buffet select in very poor..will not stay there again
The only thing we liked: the room was spacious.
Unfriendly staff at front desk. Unprofessional and inefficient at greeting guests and processing payment at check-in. Our request for twin beds was also rejected. We had to stay in an accessible room with a broken shower head. Overall it was an awful experience.
location and staff were very good.
the room service menu was over elaborate and over priced. The rooms were cold and the thermostat was preset and would only heat up a degree or two before shutting off.
For me and my husband, it was a hotel of convenience, as we had a family function the day before, and then used your own dining-room for a brunch of 10 people the next morning....We were given a separaate area for the brunch. Staff were wonderful, and the hotel was the location we required. We stayed 1 night... Would stay again!!! Thank you Marriott...Judy Innisfil, ont
All was fine......
location modern looking comfy bed part of Marriott family
no pool room thermostat didn't work water stains on ceiling hair in the tub
Location Staff Great value
Room too hot can not make it as cool as you want
The staff were very courteous to my sister and I. On our way to the hotel, we did not realize the taxi we took was not a registered taxi and he attempted to charge us more with no option to pay with a credit card. This being my first time traveling for business (and without my parents!), I wasn't aware of these regulations. But a valet person, Geoff, assisted us with our stressful situation and even called the company to complain about the driver. He and all the staff were VERY nice during our whole stay and it made me want to stay longer! The beds were the most comfortable beds I've slept in as well! I'd just like to thank the friendly staff, especially Geoff, at the Marriott Bloor Yorkville for their hospitality. Will definitely recommend this location to friends and family!
Only stayed for a night but the staff were courteous, friendly, accommodating, sincere and overall spectacular.
the room was spacious and clean comfortable bed front desk was helpful
location - difficult to find parking sign while navigating Bloor Street! location great for shopping, but not for visiting family expensive valet parking expensive breakfast menu
It has the feel of a boutique hotel, and has everything I need from a larger hotel.
Friendly staff, convenient location, comfortable beds and bedding. Nice place to stay.
Odd layout on first floor, but nothing which would stop me from staying here again.
The hotel is good. Typical chain hotel. Nothing exceptional. Location is good. Staff is nice.
Very large hotel. Might take you a while to get to your room.
Breakfast good, but not excellent.Need more cheeses and cold meats with the continental breakfasts. Rooms large and comfortable. Service great. Entry from hotel to subway very convenient.
I think a hotel of this size and cost should not be charging for WiFi connection. This was the only downside.
The staff were extremely helpful and polite at all times. Whenever we needed anything... They were there and willing to help. Will definitely go back.
From what I saw there was really nothing to dislike... I found the parking a bit of a mess but it is to be expected in a place such as downtown Toronto.
Very friendly staff, excellent location.
price too high and facilities are old and the club is very poor.
The hotel was very nice, great location.
The resturant was pricey for the quality of food.
Staff were very courteous and helpful.
Only one expensive restaurant. Not enough variety. Cab drivers rip you off! You tell them to take a certain street to get to your destination, but they go their own way to make more money. They do this to tourists in the summer. It gives Toronto a bad name.
Convenient location for visiting friends in the area. Hertz location in the basement. Clean.
Dark room on the first floor with patio right outside (supposedly an "upgraded" room). Loud party next door at night.
