Very spacious rooms, if somehwat spartan: a true suite of rooms...could have held a party for 10 friends! Ridiculous and insulting to be charged $11.95 daily for the use of the internet/WiFi access! I refused to pay the charge and used the free access at the Croissant Cafe across the road.

This was our third stayin in town inn suites. Location is great. Rooms are big enough. We even had a dinner with our friends in our room. Next time i'll stay in town in suites again. I've two complaints about hotel but I think these problems are not only this hotel's problem; I experienced it mostly everyhere in toronto: 1- heating system is adequate but so noisy. 2-Windows are so dirty; nobody cares about dirty windows in toronto :)

Reception was professional and friendly. Location excellent within walking distance to almost everything. Not too many things were in working order in the place. After a note at the front desk that 4 things were out only three were fixed during our stay. The elevators are too slow and did not always work (30 floors). The Continental breakfast is close to an insult. No buffet. You get 2 slices of fat-dripping mushy toasts plus one muffin with separate butter and jam. Asking for water it comes in a lukewarm heavy coffee mug. You have to walk through an almost unlit corridor to get to the place. The worst experience ever. The place is definitely in need of managerial attention.

Staff were friendly and made calls to taxi companies etc when we needed (instead of putting it onto our bill from the room phone). It is within walking distance from downtown areas, (although do put some comfy shoes on!), as well as being close to major lines on the subway and bus tours. Not as good as its potential! We received dirty towels, loud air conditioning units, and walls/ceilings are paper thin. Lifts came once in a blue moon! Leisure facilities are poorly maintained and minimal.

This hotel was really bad!! The Whole room was dirty, even the towels. We asked for someone to clean the room, but nobody ever came (during two days). The shower didn't work. It was impossible to shower because it was either too hot or too cold. It was the worst experience ever!

The love affair with this hotel is over. When my boyfriend and I stayed here last August we were very pleased with the experience. However, it is obvious after observing some renovations that service is clearly mediocre at the Town Inn. Our room was slated as a One Bedroom Queen. The bed was clearly a full size which was uncomfortable. The bathroom sink was clogged with caulking which no one bothered to clean before and during our stay there. The sliding doors kept coming off of the track resulting in a near nasty accident which would have had me cut very badly by the glass mirrors. The flat screen TV worked when it wanted to and appeared to work a little better after we put fresh batteries in. Not to mention the air conditioning unit leaked all over the floor.

Good location and the rooms were a nice size. I liked having a kitchen and liked that the kitchen actually had a few dishes and pots/pans for cooking! Elevators were super slow and sometimes I had to wait 10 minutes or more to leave. Sofa in the room was too old and broken and really should be replaced.

The location was perfect for our stay in toronto. If you don't have high expectations, this hotel is adequate. Typical 2*. be sure to ask for an updated room & don't stay at the front of the building (partying out front until 4:30 A.M.) The lounge is dungeon -like! The noise at the front of the hotel until 4:30a.M. should be addressed.

The people who work there were nice and friendly. The standard of the people working in this hotel (staff) was really far higher than the standard of the facility (building). I felt sorry for them, as they deserve a better place. very old. not renovated for decades. do not ever be trapped and take your kids with you as the hotel is really rusted and rottened. the floor carpet is very smelly , dirty and old. the furniture is very ugly and old. The balcony reminded me with the balconies of our old primary school building back in the sexties in Iraq, so dirty and rusted especially the outer door. The internet service is nearly non existing as it is very expensive. I was really trapped with this reservation as it was non refundable.I learned a bad lesson. The resturant and the breakfast was a joke. The photos that you see in the web site about the rooms are very cheating. this hotel is a bad sign for canada and toronto.

A lots of space After staying there I say that strongly believe that for the paid price there would be better hotels, both in location (although it was not too bad, near one of the main metro stations, 300m more or less) as in conditions. Paid wireless, although I already knew, is not compatible with nowadays requests (free wifi a croissantary in front). A lots of noise during the weekend nights.

It was spacious and had a great view of the city and perfect for 4 adults to relax and chat. The beds were comfortable and the room was cleaned the minute we left each morning. The dining area was bright and had 4 comfortable straight chairs with webbed seats. The room was exactly as pictured on the website. The desk staff was always pleasant and helpful. Taxis were always available. The continental breakfast ( fruit, toast and a muffin) could definitely use better coffee and be served in a more cheery spot - like the lobby area across from the main desk. Although probably energy efficient, the light bulbs could have been brighter for easier reading. A couple of extra comfortable chairs could have been added in the living room area to compliment the sofa.

Booked executive suites!!!! Two room suit, style - 80s. Bathroom - awful, dirty, I could not force myself to step into it to take a shower. Ceiling - low, dark, uncomfortable. Room - cold, heater very loud, can't sleep during night. I moved to another hotel. I found it the walking distance from hotel, closer to the center, for the same price and much better quality.I would not recommend. Will never stay there again.
