Town Inn Furnished Suites    

At first I was a little concerned because some of the bad reviews I read, but the hotel also had some great reviews, was in a great area and by the photos it seemed to be a nice hotel. Before going I contacted the manager, told him about my concerns, and asked him if it would be possible to stay at one of the new suites. He was extremely friendly, assured me that I would stay at a new suite and that I wouldn't be disappointed. I was amazed when I got there. The room was actually a little apartment, very spacious, everything was brand new, and it had everything we needed (including a washing machine and a dryer). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. Apparently almost every suite has been renovated. Also the hotel is just a block away from the subway and two blocks away from Bloor and Yonge intersection, one of the most important areas of the city. It has supermarkets and good restaurants close too. By the way, we got there a little earlier than the check in time, and the room was ready. We were really pleased. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends who might come to town.

This was our second stay here this year and as before the GM and his team were exceptional. Cant beat this hotel for location and value for money. We wont stay anywhere else now.

Wifi was playing up a bit this time but the staff was courteous and tried hard to help. We could have changed rooms to get better reception but it was our choice not to.

Disgusting... Poorly cleaned rooms and felt like a slummy apartment. Would never recommend this place and will do everything I can to steer people away from it.

The staffs are quite helpful.

-wifi problem in the room -pool is not well heated -the cleaner do not wash the dishes n bed sheet not change. -a little pricey.

My room was sold to the highest bidder before I got to the hotel, because the hotel was sold out for the night........ The manager of the hotel then forced a room on us instead of 2 room suites we requested for- the manager later treathen to take the one room from us and sell it if we dont want it- me and my guest have to scamble our self to one room for the nite and check out the following morning......instead of staying for 3 nights

Comfortably sized one bedroom with full kitchen, nice living room and balcony.

The hotel offers all the comforts of home in it's "apartment style" rooms and the staff were very helpful whenever called upon.

The staff rocks.

The beds were uncomfortable, the toilet was broken, barely any hot water in the shower. There wasn't a tv in the bedroom or even an alarm clock.

Location was perfect for us, we were going to the Panasonic Theatre- walking distance - lovely

-very old, run down apartment building trying to be converted to "suites" - underground parking was an extra $22 which was not disclosed until we checked out

they didn't tell us that the hotel is in renovation, so at 8:30 p.m the construction workers started to work and we couldn't sleep. the balcony was all broken. i think they should have informed us before we came.

The convienence of downtown.

The bed was uncomfortable. The remote control for the TV didnt work. The WIFI should have been included with the room rate. The microwave did not work well. The shower water pressure was very low. The couch was uncomfortable. The walls were kind of thin.

Suites were very spacious and well laid out. Bedroom had nice decor.

The decor in the main living area is a tad out-dated.

The beds and pillows were comfortable.

The fact they were renovating outside out room on the deck that was non existent and they didn't even let us know. How we changed rooms 4 times because of something wrong. The water pressure. The cleanliness was non existent. Honestly looked and felt like someone got murdered somewhere. Super expensive for what we were given plus even after all the problems they didn't give any refunds of any sort. None of our keys worked, literally has to get new ones everytime we entered the building. Pretty much this place is horrible.

very friendly reception and efficient,very well situated, I recommand to all the restaurent O Noir located just next door (to experience how it feels to be blind)

Parking situation was terrible. Bed sagged in the middle The first room smelled of tobacco smoke..

Staff was friendly and accomodating. Room was spacious and the kitchenette was handy. The hotel rooms are getting old and run down a bit but it's in a great location and is easy on the budjet

Housekeeping was poor. Bathtub wasn't cleaned daily, toiletries weren't replaced and floors weren't cleaned. The hotel is supposed to be non smoking but my room was continually full of cigarette smoke the first night. Staff said smoking was allowed on the balconies but that obviously didn't prevent it from filling the hallway and permeating the surrounding rooms. If you need a smoke free envireonment, this wouldn't be acceptable. Also, it was not possible to connect to the free WiFi in the lobby.

The location is excellent.

Friendly, convenient, and reasonable. I am becoming a regular visiter.

I got the room through booking.com for $238 both nights!! The staff were very nice and accomodating Room was clean and cosy Close to Young St, restaurants and shopping, everything within walking distance.

I tried to reserve this room without using booking.com Town Inn Suites was charging $218/night, Would have liked to have extra blankets and towels No where to sit and relax. Our room had a table with 2 hard wooden chairs, would have liked a comfortable chair or love seat to sit and watch tv. Plugs for kitchen sink and bath tub did not fit so tub and sink would not hold water. Dirty sponge was provided under kitchen sink to wash dishes, should have had a new sponge.

The staff and the newly refurbished suites are faultless. The location is perfect for reviewing all of Toronto..

The older suites are a little dated but still perfectly clean and of a good size.
