“The parking was very convenient and free! Good location for accessing the main areas of interest of Victoria and walking distance to waterfront. The room we stayed in was a little tired and could do with a refurb, but was comfortable.”

The bed was spectacularly comfortable - very firm, unlike many budget hotels where you feel like you're sleeping in marshmallow. Oh dear... the staff weren't great. They tried to be helpful, but there seemed to be a lack of communication.

We appreciated the modern king sized bed in an older-hotel atmosphere with its elegant touches and architectural features, the presence of couples and young people from various countries who were staying there, the relative quiet throughout the hotel, the parking for disabled right next to the front door, (important for us, but there was only one disabled space and we were always nervous that someone else might have taken it when we went out) and the availability to us (unexpectedly) of open support group meetings that were happening on the main floor. The room was clean upon arrival and each day the maid service was friendly and efficient. We appreciated finding a place in the heart of the city where we could feel safe as well as near the 'action'. Thank you. As above, there was only one disabled parking space next to the door, and disabled people might be required to walk across a busy street to park. Also, the pricing policy was confused; we thought we were entitled to a free continental breakfast but were told that as we had booked online we weren't eligible for that. It wasn't a matter of the cost but the confusion that led us to eat elsewhere.

The double room was large and roomy, there was plenty of storage space and a great flat screen tv The curtains were starting to fall off, it could have been cleaner, air con was quite noisy, it was also a good walk from the center.

Emplacement correct Aucune insonorisation.

There was not much to commend this hotel. It was run down. Our curtains were hanging off the rail. The pool was out of service and not very appealing at all. It was okay for a one night stop over...........

Location The food was not great. Ordered a reuben sandwich and the corned beef was not edible. The staff however was very accomodating and did not charge us for the meal. I think it was just a one off as everyone else seemed to be enjoying their food.

Hotel location was great, it was 1 block from the Save on Arena and very close to Chinatown. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the price was reasonable and the outdoor pool was a hit with the kids!
